Ate some kangaroo today, felt kinda sick as i took each bite of the juicy steak,,, ughhhhh... all I could think about was that they could have been better off bouncing hopping and jumping around if they hadn't been slain for human consumption.
For ya'll who don't know this is what they look like, they are adorable:



Coupled with the horrible visions after watching slither (which I saw a few weeks ago) horrible images are still solidly engrained into my head. I think I want to turn vegetarian now

I remember eating kangaroo when I was younger in Australia and it was pretty good. Its definetly a lean meat.

No there are a ton of them over there though. A lot of Americans seem to think that they are endangered or something but that is definitely not the case. I don't live over there any more.

Yea, from what I understand, a kangaroo in Australia is about as common as a jackrabbit or a squirel in America. I've seen these "roo-guard" grills they put on trucks in areas where they have a lot of kangaroos. They are heavy steel and rated to deflect a full sized kangaroo at 40 kpm with no damage.
