dips with 4 plates in my lap.. these weren't so good, but it was hard to adjust once you start doing them..

Try this for bench dips:
BW x10
1 Plate x10 drop to bw x10
2 Plate x10 drop to 1 plate x10 dop to BW x10
3 plate x10 drop to 2 plate x10 drop to 1 plate x10 drop to 1 plate x10
4 plate x10, 3 plate x10, 2 plate x10, 1 plate x10, BW x10
Try 5 if you can and so the same
This is how I do my bench dips and they will blow those babies up!

What do you guys think of weighted bench dips versus weighted regular dips (have a weight belt w/ a chain attached and hang the plates from there and then do dips on the dip bars). I have been doing weighted regular dips for a while and I am up to BW + 2 x 45s and 1 x 35 (aks BW +125) . . .
However, I do not know that I can fit much more weight on the chain . . . I either need to get a chain extension or find other alternatives. I prefer the chain method b/c I tend to work out at wierd time (typically very early) and do not typically lift with a partner.
