Ya any of you guys have the "cable phone" service? Our time warner offers it but we havent made the switch yet. Just wondering if its any good.

thats right, yes they do, but I think vonage was cheaper. also they give a free month upfront and offer this cool vphone that you can hook to your laptop and take the phone with you wherever you travel.

I had verizon, switched to cingular. Cingular's reception isn't as good as Verizon, but I think the phones are higher quality. The two phones I had from Verizon shit the bed, and then my insurance phone followed suit.

Let me say, the damn insurance they are running on these is a scam. You pay $5 per month, which comes to around $60 per year, and they make you pay $50 to get a new phone. Plus, if you don't send your old broken phone back, they charge you.

What do you end up getting from them? A 'new' phone that was someone's old broken one, that stops working after 4 months.

I'll never do the phone insurance thing again...

true, you can get a phone off of ebay without a contract for 100 bucks anyway

got the LG chocolate brand new for like 300$, but rebates bringing it down to 99$ which is what its at now I think

the rebates are just a hassle to deal with, need copies of everything, and have like a 20 day window to mail them in or their null. On a side note, I hope I get my rebates before I graduate in May.. nothin like free $

Thats a good site. A blackjack phone, free after rebates? After I opened my cingular plan at the store, I saw all these sweet deals online.
