What made you choose the NASM over other organizations to obtain your certification from? and how well do you feel it prepared you to train/coach athletes from varying populations? any internship/job experiences as a performance coach or all as an AT? and what sport is your olympian in?

Actually, I didn't choose NASM... One of my MS classes required us to take the NASM-PES course/cert. I felt it prepared me the most for what I want to do, very well suited for me personally. You get a taste of strength/conditioning, nutrition, supplementation, sports psych, etc. I think it makes you a little more well rounded. Enjoyed it so much that I'd like to take their CES cert too. I was beginning the CSCS course when I started my MS classes, but ran out of time to actually take the test between work, classes, and the PES course. It's one the agenda! lol I have internship/job experiences in both performance enhancement, coaching and AT.
