  • Hammy's, Calves and Abs... Once again, just a great workout! Smashed the Hammy's topping out at 365 for 8 again.. I didn't go higher in weight, instead I dropped down to 225 and did a burn out for 15 reps.. I was fried at the end.. Had a good drop set session on calves as well as abs... time to kick back and relax for the rest of the evening..

    • Arm day today and although once again it did take a little while to get it in gear.. Once I found it, the workout was really good! Bi's and Tri's are sore and I'm looking forward to a much needed day off... I slightly tweaked my upper back during my dead lifts yesterday, so the day off will be necessary.. Sometimes my heart is bigger than my brain... Nonetheless, gotta fight through and grind it out.. Gotta grow!!

      • The rest day today was everything I had hoped it would be as I needed the rest for this upper back issue.. I think that I'll be back tomorrow good and strong although I will go in and read the situation accordingly... I don't want things to go from bad to worse.. At the same time, I have some big shows in mind and I'm gonna need big muscles for those big shows..

        • Another day in paradise for Traps and Delts... Although my back is still very tender from those dead lifts, I was able to rally back for a good workout! Jumped back into sets a little faster and lightened up on the weight a bit just to be on the safe side... Legs tomorrow!!!

          • Today I trained legs and it hurt! Started things off with front squats, then hack squats, single leg press and ended with extensions... Drop set on calves, and then beat the crap of the ol abs! Life is good! I'll be sore tomorrow!

            • Another great Chest and Back day! Again, jumping back into my sets faster allowed me to get a great pump, in addition got a really good sweat. There is a guy here that is about my height and slightly bigger than me although its known that he has used in the past. The compliment to me is the fact that I'm being compared to this guy and I'm 100% natty! People here locally want to see him and I go head to head in a show, I tell them "I'm not afraid.. Let's do this!!" I guess time will tell.. It would be a huge feather in my cap to beat someone that isn't natural...

                • Did things a little different today as instead of hammy's calves and abs, I trained arms.. Last week I felt that a hard leg day followed by a hard arm day was just a lot of strain on my upper back... That being said, we'll try this out in reverse and damn that arm workout after a days rest was really good! A new PR on seated single dumbbell raises (120lb dumbbell for 8 reps). I'm just hoping that I'm not overtraining as my arms are going to be used tomorrow during my dead lift session.. I'll just have to listen to my body and see what happens..

                  • Back in the house today for Hammy's, Calves and Abs... I didn't get too crazy with the deads today as I am still nursing my upper back a bit.. I still managed to get a great workout in as I absolutely destroyed my calves and abs.. Taking tomorrow off for some R&R...

                    • Today's rest day has been good to me! Calories are gonna be a little on the high end but I'm not quite as critical as I'm not competing this fall.. I'm loading up for the springtime.. I'm thinking sushi tonight! Yeah thats right.. Lots of it too!!

                      • Boulders for Shoulders today! Got an awesome shoulder workout in along with close to two gallons of H2O today.. Just thirsty! 225 on the military press for 6 reps today... I did have one of the best bodybuilders in the NW spotting me, so maybe I was just trying to impress him along with myself.. Hey, whatever it takes! Also maxed out the reverse pec dec.. Damn.. Life is GOOD!!!

                        • Today was quads calves and abs.. I started out on the hack squat for a change and went pretty heavy! I got up to 5 plates on each side for 6 good, deep solid reps.. went heavy on the leg press along with heavy, quick set extensions.. I'm wounded! great ab workout too.. Photo shoot on the 9th.. gotta look good!!

                              • Amazing chest and back day! hit a couple PR's on bench... I have a feeling I'm gonna be sore tomorrow.. All good though, no lifting, just running stairs for some conditioning... Did my entire split backwards today, Dave Draper style... Yeah buddy!!

                                My boy Steve Cook is in town this weekend, gotta kick it with him and show him a thing or two in the gym!!
