    Today I tried to get away from doing supersets just to work on strength more. My goal was to try to get a PR for each muscle group. It might be unfair PR's though bc typically I do these as supersets and it's been a long time since I've done them alone. I might try to do without supersets 1 of the 2 workouts each week for a while. (Hard not to superset on Monday due to time and crowded gym.) I did feel pretty dang good, energy/endurance seems to be back. I'm travelling for work this weekend, so I will have to try to squeeze a back/chest workout in at the hotel fitness center... hoping they at least have some DB's.

    This morning I mixed my OxiMega greens with ABB's Diet Turbo Lemon Tea. It tasted pretty good, but it's def. a lot better with Green Tea. Again, with this combo I was able to avoid my morning coffee... Considering trying it with Raspberry Tea, but it sounds kinda suspect taste wise. I took my REDuction PM with Melatonin last nite and slept quite well again -- slept through the night and woke up refreshed (without feeling drugged like most sleep aids do). This is a big help for me since I'm such a crappy sleeper. I'm sure it's helping my day and my workouts go better.

      Ok today I tried experimenting with a friends lifting hooks... They looked like this:



      The major problem was that with the hooks, I couldn't get my small hands around the BB or DB's. So, when I did shrugs... all the weight would be hanging soley by my wrists (which made them feel like they were going to dislocate). With the DB Rows, it was ok... but not comfy. I will have to try straps or another kind of hooks, bc this clearly will not work. Lifting hooks aside, I felt good... I want my bench back up to 120 though lol.

            Felt really good today. Was a little sore from Monday's Chest/Back workout, which held me back a little bit. I def. think there will be some PR's next sesh!! This was also the first Spin Class where I felt 100% in a long time. I've been sleeping a lot better since starting on the REDuction PM/Melatonin cocktail... gotta believe that's helping the workouts. I fell off the wagon and had my 24oz of coffee this morning (instead of just mixing my OxiMega with the ABB Diet Turbo Tea...). I felt more jittery than refreshed and "natural" energy... so I'm going to go back to the OX & Tea combo.

                As I mentioned before, my schedule really got screwed up. Yesterday should have been Chest/Back, today should have been Legs, and tomorrow should be Shoulders/Bi's/Tri's. Long story short I had to rearrange for various reasons. I thought this might present a problem with today's workout, but that was certainly not the case. I felt fired up and hell bent on setting more PR's (which is why I didn't superset again). Right before I left for the gym, the UPS man showed up with this cute little package from CL. When I opened it up, I thought my WF had a baby!! VERY excited to try out the new Fruit Punch! I will be starting a review and log here in a bit.

                Oh, and I didn't use InTrain today bc I'm out. I was holding off on my next order bc I wanted to check out the Fruit Punch WF... if I liked it I was going to pick it up... but I also need more GM/GB -- so I wanted to see which GM it tasted best with first. I'm considering using Fruit Punch WF alone and using GB on workout days/GM off days too, since I haven't tried this scheme yet lol.

                    Taste: (in SOUR APPLE GREEN MAG)

                    I mixed 2 scoops Fruit Punch WF with 1 scoop Sour Apple GM in 20oz of water. I must say I didn't know what to expect with these 2 flavors. But I'm happy to say FP is just as good with SA GM as it is alone. This is KEY for me, it gives me the option to have it alone (when I'm taking GB) or with GM. Excellent!

                    To compare the different WF flavors with Sour Apple GM, I would rank them like this:
                    #1 Fruit Punch/Sour Apple
                    #2 Electric Lemonade/Sour Apple
                    #3 White Raz/Sour Apple

                      PR MONDAY! Felt super today. Finally I'm back to firing on all cylinders. I was really able to light up my stabilizers tonite, and I haven't been able to do that in a looong time. I almost hated to quit bc I felt I was getting stronger towards the end. I miss these types of workouts, hope they stay this way. I actually intended to try lifting straps with a few exercises, but forgot. As I mentioned above, I really enjoyed the flavor of Fruit Punch WF and Sour Apple GM mixed together. It's my new favorite combo. I will try with Lemonade GM tomorrow.

                      • OxiMega Final Review

                        This particular type of supp is very hard to give a "final review" as most benefits aren't completely obvious and will become more apparent over time. If you mention changes, some will say it's placebo. I can honestly say that I generally felt better with a slight increase in natural energy since I started OX. When I combined it with my ABB Green Tea, I felt almost the same get-up-and-go as I did with my morning 24oz coffee. Probably one of the most noticeable changes was the increased digestive support, especially combined with OT. For those that say you should just eat whole foods to get your veggies, I feel the Greens deliver more than I can count on getting through diet 100% of the time. I still do eat my veggies, but I feel this gives me a guarantee. The biggest surprise of all... the taste. I have tried other products in the past, but never got paste the taste to continue use. In the morning, I actually look forward to the Greens because it's so good for me and the taste is spot on. To keep it interesting, you can mix it in Green Tea, Choc. Whey Shakes, etc. For an added bonus, you get quality fish oil with it. There is always comfort in knowing that PCB Lab tests came back great, you're getting high potency EPA/DHA, etc.

                        At the end of the day, I rate this product a 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone looking to get a Greens product (and Fish Oil). It will certainly remain a staple for me.

                          * First 5 exercises are basically a warmup for the workout. There are 2 different Leg Press Machines that are at different angles.


                          I felt solid again today. I really enjoyed doing the Dropset on the Leg Press, it's been quite a while since I've done that. Thursday I'm going to do an entirely unilateral leg workout... to finish them off for the week, lol. I don't think I've ever done walking lunges with the Curl Bar... sorta different and fun. My gym isn't big enough to use the BB.

                          My friend was SUPPOSE to bring me 1 scoop of Lemonade GM today to try out with my Fruit Punch White Flood... he forgot. So, I went with GB and Fruit Punch WF solo. Try again tomorrow, lol. Just as a side note... I think the taste of Fruit Punch is slightly better in 18oz vs. 16oz too... a little less tart. Also, I didn't end up using REDuction PM last nite, fell asleep on my own. lol

                            My friend finally brought me in a scoop of Lemonade GM to try with Fruit Punch WF... lol I mixed 2 scoops WF with 1 scoop GM in 20oz of water. I def. prefer Fruit Punch with Sour Apple, but this still tastes good. So, I can give Fruit Punch 2 thumbs up with Sour Apple and Lemonade GM... as well as solo.

                            To compare the different WF flavors with GM flavors, I would rank them like this:

                              Can't really explain it but my shoulders felt crazy tonite. Went from 95 to 105lbs on my Military (I've never gone up 10lbs before). That really pumped me up for the rest of my workout. I'm super happy that I'm backing to setting PR's each workout like I used to. I'm hoping to take some progress/gym pics Fri. I will also re-do some measurements. There better be some change!
