Here are some suggestions as far as content:
Food -
- What did you eat? (highly preferred, but still optional)
- When did you eat? (preferred, but optional)
- Caloric Intake w/ Macronutrient Breakdown (A MUST HAVE)
Supplements -
- What did you take? (A MUST HAVE)
- When did you take it? (ANOTHER MUST HAVE)
- This will be compounded on more later.
Workout -
- Detail your workout, or explain why you did not workout (A MUST HAVE)
- List weights/reps (VERY highly preferred, helps track progress)
- Difficulty of workout (highly preferred)
- Changes in strength, endurance, mind/muscle connection (A MUST HAVE)
Notes -
- How do you feel about your workout?
- How did the supplements make you feel?
Colors and pictures help people want to read your log, however they are not required. The only thing that really matters here is that you keep your log a) easy to follow, and b) consistent. Those two things will have others wanting to read your log.
Try to update your log as frequently as possible. There is nothing wrong with updating a couple times per week, but daily updates give a much more accurate portrayal of your diet, training, and supplementation. Also, feel free to put off topic stuff in your log to liven things up, but don't turn your log into a dear diary either.
Before and after pictures for a supplement log are the easiest way to track progress and not areas of weakness/improvement. Sometimes it is easier for others to see changes than it is for us to see them. A set at the beginning and end of each log is fine, you do not have to do like daily picture updates. As far as bloodwork, if you are ABLE to secure pre/post bloodwork that is also IMMENSLY beneficial and will quickly make you a preferred logger for many companies. Weighins are the devil, but if you are on a cut they give some idea of progress.Back to the basics!

1) Follow the initial dosing instructions and report initial impressions
2) Tell the readers about yourself and where you are currently at in your fitness / bodybuilding journey. Tell them your training experience and anything else interesting about yourself so they can put your feedback in perspective.
3) Sometimes progress photos are worth 1000 words... so keep that in mind.
4) Take baseline stats / measurements on Day 1 if possible:
Max Bench
Max Deadlift
Max Squat
Bodyweight
Neck
Chest
Bi
Forearm
Waist
Thigh
Calves

Im getting my black hole log ready for when the shipment arrives, but I have a quick question for those who are experienced in making logs. Can someone please explain to me how you can put the image from fitday displaying your macros into the log? I'm sure this is very simple, but this is my first log....appreciate any help.
