Don't worry, maybe in another 10yrs we might actually start watching "football", its begun with soccer moms.

the unfortunate thing is the USA are ranked top 5 international teams in the world and have a fighting chance to do some damage in the World Cup which the rest of the world is fixated upon, but none of you guys (except maybe the Uber one) gives a crap!!

Guilty as charged, actually I watched the 98 World Cup with much interest, but after I moved to where I currently am I stopped watching it because absolutley no one here watches "football", however I might just watch this World Cup, just for you Blap.


Edit: Nike is the only company promoting soccer here in the US, they have some pretty cool commercials for it, like I said, slowly but steadily "football" is becoming a bit more popular here.

i think ive watched soccer once, and it was my HS in the state championship (they won) i only really went cos my gf at the time wanted too..

american football is the only sport i watch consistently.. occasionaly some hockey or basketball but i wont set time aside for it usually.

I even played baseball for like 15 years of my life; but hate to watch it or even go to a game if im not pitching.. still amazes me, i see pros throwing low 90s.. i got clocked at mid 80s when i was like 13/14.. how nice it would be to have been lucky enough to play at higher lvls than hs =(
