It's called the by stander effects; its a rather interesting social psychology phenomamana (sp?)

EVeryone believes someone else will do something, so they don't do anything. You can s ay in that situation you would stop it, but its a rarity when that is actually true. theres tons of research on it, good stuff.

there was that case in NYC a couple years back where some chick got raped in broad day light and noone did nothign. the attacker left and came back to dispose of her body even.

something similar happened in Britain recently, a police guy beat up some woman who claimed she was epileptic and havin a fit at the time

Only problem with that is you can be arrested for assulting a police officer. Also, the patrons apparently knew him and knew of his reputation of abusing authority. However, CPD says he was never a discipline problem. Atleast now he's facing 2-5 years for aggravated assult and will definately be butt-pirated in Illinois Department of Corrections when they learn he was a cop.

No, she is having serious problems with head and neck injuries suffered from this. Constant nausea, vertigo, etc. Who thing took about 30 seconds and she told doctors it felt like 15 minutes. That's a hell of an beat down. Granted, it could be set up for a big lawsuit, but still, 250lb guy vs 114lb girl....and yes John, that does qualify him as a little bitch....with a badge a gun at the time regardless. Now, NOTHING!



Oh, and crime pays those who get crime'd on! (sometimes........and with bad english)
