just got the 40 inch sony last night online. also picked up the extra 2 year in home waranty, in case there are dead pixels. good buy?

i vote for DLP.. Ive got a 52" Samsung DLP. very very nice! picture quality is great! Not heavy or bulky either. I was going to go with the mitsubishi dlp 1080i, but went with this one instead..its 1080p.

my 40 inch sony lcd is pretty rockin too.

Its a Panasonic, actually they have a 32" LCD in the basement also, its so rockin with the xbox360

You have HD on yours?

yup. got the hdmi wire and the cable box with hdmi out and dvr.

hey tank ur best bet is go to a few stores and check out the tv's for urself in person and see what u like best...heck watch a bit of some dvds and what not and HDTV and then see what u like...and barter with the guy or buy online and save good luck tell us what happens and give PICS
