Ugh I've had that happen. Bought 20lbs of brown rice from the Asian food market. I dumped the bag out into a sealed container 2 days later, I went to go steam some rice and noticed little black things crawling in the container. I dumped that whole container out and washed it, then went through all the other rice and grain containers in that pantry and they were all clean so I'm guessing they were in there in the bag when I bought the rice and then hatched inside the sealed container.

Yeah that'd probably kill th eggs but they'd still be in the rice.

I just stopped buying that brand from the Asian food market. It turned me off brown rice for a while heh.

I started eating oatmeal with my chicken instead got me weird looks at work though and I got burnt out on it quick and went back to brown rice, just a different brand that gets processed a bit more.
