DEFINITELY rinse with salt at least 3 times a day. You will save yourself a ton of pain! Also, it's a good idea to ice your face (where you had the teeth taken out) a couple times a day. It really helps with the swelling.

Food wise - Grind up some oats into a powder, and cook them like you normally would. You get a great mush. YUM!

Yeah, some people are fine when they get theirs pulled out, but others are put right out of commission.

I haven’t gotten mine out, but I did have 4 eye teeth pulled before I got braces. The freezing stuff they used never worked after dozens and dozens of injections. Nearly reached over and punched the nurse in the face but I was too messed up (but I tried slugging her and kind of fell). Blood everywhere, big crunching noises and shattered teeth in my mouth… not fun.

When I got home I felt pretty fine, browsed the internet and tilted my head forward – BIG MISTAKE. Blood and drool everywhere!!!

Thank goodness for my highschool sweetheart. She helped take my mind off the pain pretty well. T3’s, vicoden and redheads are a good combination.

Had all 4 of mine done, got knocked out for it. I then woke up in the middle then went back to sleep. Just make sure you keep the wounds washed out so you don't get dry socket. Enjoy all the milk shakes and mashed potatoes!
