      Even with the root canal my tooth pains still continues to put a damper on things. My goal is to be back in the gym next Monday and hit it hard. I've still been doing really good with my eating so I'm still making strides. Small changes in measurements and much to my suprise I was in the high twenties on the scale this morning, first time i've seen that since my 2nd year of college! woohoo!

      • Alright, today is a new day...a great new day to be exact! I've really been slacking in the weight room because of my triathlon training but to be honest, training for a triathlon hasn't been motivating at all. I love the biking and swimming but never liked running long distances. I prefer sprinting over endurance running, maybe because I’m better at it, who knows. I love lifting, always have loved it. And with that being said, to get out of the funk of being completely out for over a week because of my tooth ache I'm heading back to what I love! I’m going back to the gym and focusing more on weight training with cardio vs. cardio with some weight training. Being in the gym around others holds me and my fiance accountable. Plus it’s just makes me feel great, super, fantastic!

        Goals for this week:

        Cardio in the morning at least 3 times
        Weight train at least 4 times
        Cardio after weights at least 3 times
        Continue to eat clean - no cheats till Sunday!

            Short and Sweet.

            Bicep Curls
            3x12 w/ 15, 20, 20# db

            Bent Over Rows
            3x8 w/ 35# db

            Lat Pull Down to Front
            3x10 @ 80 #

            Back Extensions
            3x12@ 90 #

            I didn't super push myself because I've been out of the gym for so long I didn't want to hurt myself. It felt great to be back!

            Tonight is Chest & Triceps. Hopefully I can get in some cardio too!

                  Nice workout, definitely good to get comfortable again. Great to see it felt good to be back

                    I'd have to feel like Wonder Woman to even try to go that heavy, let alone with that many reps. Good job!

                      i actually was lifting quite a bit lighter than what i was doing consistantly a month ago. i def feel my strength drop due to lack of weight training, but i'm hoping after a little time in the gym i'll be back to lifing heavy again

                      i can't wait to get to the gym tonight!
