Tank, your point about quality is well taken, and it's one of the reasons I always investigate CL products while I'm searching for additions to my supp/nutrition routine. Anyway, here are links to pages where you can access the labels for the three I'm comparing:

smart comparisons, however for the extra 5 cents a day i would go with the one that has the 3rd party pcb test done. some major companies failed pcb testing, so that is food for thought.

In response to that, I trust the quality of the products I use, or I wouldnt use them. It's one of the reasons I am comfortable with CL products and NOW products. I trust your quality through experience and demonstrated quality as well as things like cGMP, but NOW is also cGMP certified/compliant, and I trust their products as well.

From the product page linked above for the omegas I take: "It is tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants (i.e. mercury, heavy metals, PCB's, dioxins, and other contaminants)."

Why do I trust this/them? Aside from a long history of nothing but positive experience with them, I took a couple minutes with the search feature on their site, and here are a list of links in regards to quality, many specifically relating to their Omega/Fish Oil products and address testing:

I am not speaking about any company specifically but saying something on a website and showing a 3rd party test are worlds apart.

also, this shows major companies who said they have good qaulity, but this group alleges (via 3rd party tests) that some of their products are much higher in PCB than you would think based on what they say:

Taking the math from my earlier comparison above just a bit further, one serving UN greens= 7.9g, one two-capsule serving NOW Omegas= 1.5g epa/dha. I take two servings greens per day, my wife takes one, and we each take two fish oil pills per day, so (7.9gx3)+(1.5gx2)=26.7g/day. If I use the lowest retail price per gram for each product from among the three sites compared and then figure in the fact we take these every day of the year, here is what the numbers bear out:

          My current products: (26.7gx$0.077)x365= $750/year
          IF I switched to OOM: (26.7gx$0.097)x365= $945/year

When I break things down like this, I think it's a fair question for me to ask myself when comparing if one product is worth $195 more per year to me vs. another. If you take the time for a 20 minute comparison like this with any consumable, supplements included, your savings can creep into the thousands in a year, and you learn more about the efficacy and quality in the process. I've switched from other brands to CL products in the past from similar quality/price/convenience comparisons.

All I'm saying here is that it takes more than a brand label, even a trusted one like CL, to convince me to add a product or switch from others I'm already happy with. I'm going to wait and see if a kit of OOM can convince me. I pretty close to 30 labels, so that will be a great excuse for me to give OOM a trial run soon.

Sorry, I didn't realize that post was against the board rules. No harm intended, and hopefully none done. Anyway, the long and short of it was that they were very responsive and very friendly, but wouldn't provide numbers because of the pending litigation related to their other products in the link you posted above. The rep just assured me that the product in question meets USP/EC standards, that they are a GMP facility, that their products were safe, etc.
