Since the seals/lids are broken, should I transfer them into a different container when they get here or will they stay fresh in the current tubs?

some of them are minor. the ones with larger cracks that is a good idea. you could put it in a big zip lock and keep that inside the tub

You had to select that shipping option during the checkout procedure. It was a little more expensive though.
