  • Back at it today... Arm day! Lowing the rep count just a bit and trying to go heavier faster... definitely had to take the extra time to stretch today, but once I was all loosened up, I hit it hard! Kinda funny, people keep asking me when my show is and I tell them March or April.. Already on the clock! Lets get serious now and have the edge on everyone that hasn't thought about it yet... I'll be ready!!!

    • Today I absolutely trashed my Hamstrings and Calves! I didn't hit abs today as I was so unbelievably tired after what I did I had to stop... two back to back sets of 405 on deads, heavy leg curl super sets and then what I like to call "hell" on the calves... The ultimate drop set... I can barely move tonight and that is just the way I wanted it... I cannot wait until this spring as I know that my mind and body will be ready for war!!

      • Off day today.. Much needed as my hamstrings are very sore... My calves are pretty damn sore too... I love being sore, such a feeling of accomplishment and I think that it really contributes to the addiction.. It's all part of the game! Back to the house tomorrow for traps and delts!

        • Tonights workout was spot on! Traps and Delts... A perfect combination of volume, heavy weights, intensity and pain... I did the dirty 30 again, this time right in the middle of my workout and it acted as a great pre exhaust.. I utilized the smith machine this evening for shrugs and am beginning to feel more and more that it isolates my traps better.. I got a great pump and even practiced some posing in the corner of the gym where the lighting is good.. Funny as attention is always drawn when that happens.. It's a good thing we have a good crown at the gym that I train at.. They know what I'm doing over there... "Perfect practice makes perfect"...

              • Today's leg day was EPIC... yeah I said it.. I took it there! Leg press 18 plates plates for reps, front squats 225 for reps, vertical leg press w/ 8 plates for reps... and of course the rigorous calf attack... I'm DONE for the evening... they want wheels this spring.. they will get them!!

                • I missed my log yesterday... I trained Chest and Back.. Again, lots of heavy weight... I ended my workout with great super set, two back to back chest followed by two back to back Back exercises... It was something a bit different and it gave my body a good shock.. Gotta keep this body of mine from getting complaisant...

                  • Today I trained Arms... Heavy weights again! Seated hammer strength preacher curl I ended up knocking out 3 wheels and a 35 for 6 good solid reps... Standing curls with a wheel on each side 3x 10.. Incline dumbbell extensions with 40's for 3 sets of 10... I'm gonna be wounded tomorrow, but I'll be taking the day off as I will be timing things out so I can have saturday off to run the CL booth at the BBCOM Nutrition Store in Boise.. Should be fun!!

                    • This kid is resting up today as I'll be training Wed, Thur and Fri in lieu of working at the BBCOM store saturday... I think it's good too as my arms are very sore from yesterday's workout... I'll be back at it tomorrow!!

                      • On a whim, I decided to train chest and back.. It has been a while since I have trained these muscles following an off day and it was amazing! For the first time in my life my chest was so pumped that I couldn't contract at all.. I was insane! My level of motivation is higher than it's ever been and I'm loving it! I wouldn't trade it for the world!!

                        • Leg day today! I was unable to train Hammy's earlier in the week so I trained Quads and Hammy's along with Calves.. It was another great workout and I go up to 10 wheels on the hack for 6 reps... I had to get a bit vocal on the last two reps but I think everyone in the place understood..
                          I have a good feeling that I will be hobbling around tomorrow.. mission accomplished!

                            • I'm taking today off from the iron today as well.. I didn't really plan to, but believe it or not, my delts are still sore from friday.. This goes to show that you can't alway lift with your heart, sometimes you have to lift with your brain... For the first time in a long time I think that I may have actually over did it a little bit.. I'm going to continue to push hard and I think I may have to supplement more BCAA's into my regiment... Arms tomorrow!
