I trained Quads, Calves and Abs today... I came in nursing a little tenderness in my left knee which is kind of surprising to me considering when I go heavy I usually wrap them... Nonetheless, I hit three sets on the leg extension to loosen things up.. I then found that gear and went heavy on front squats, followed by hack squats.. I then did a great drop set on the leg extension.. Wheels hurt and I'm sure they'll be good and sore tomorrow...

Chest and Back today.. The word of the day was "heavy"!! 110's for 6 on the incline followed by some heavy flies.. the chest was fried when it was all over.. and as for my back, just another day at the office.. growing like a weed!!sigpicDarren Conroy

After taking Friday and Saturday off with the bodybuilding competition over the weekend I was back to the gym and very motivated after seeing all the great physiques.. I started things off with bi's and tri's... I hit a good heavy tricep set followed by a great bicep set.. Everything after that was all super sets.. I cut my workout time down considerably and the pump was great! I only like to do it that way about once a month as I typically like to take my time.. Today's hamstring, calves and abs workout was insane!! The guy that I'm wanting vengeance against did not get his card this last weekend which is music to my ears! That means I'll get another shot at him in the spring... Thats all I was thinking about today and I had an amazing workout! 405 on deads, 500 on calf raises.. Today's workout was intense!! Once again I got 3 plates on the hammer strength shoulder press for 6 reps.. I wanted 8 but I was getting tunnel vision on 5 and 6 so 8 may have done me in... Had a great session today.. Quads, Calves and Abs.. I got a bit creative on the wheels today... Heavy leg press, 9 plates on each side.. Followed by my first ever trial with utilizing the smith machine for a vertical leg press. It was great!! I ended up pressing 3 plates and a 25 on each side for 10 slow, solid reps... It hit my legs unlike they have ever been hit before.. surprising enough there was minimal stress on my back... I finish off with alternate leg press and leg extensions.. wheels are mashed!!sigpicDarren Conroy

Chest and Back today... Mostly incline work on the chest today and I trained all my back exercises in reverse order for a little shock of the ol body.. All in all it was a great day of training and I'm sure I'll be pretty sore tomorrow.. I just closed on my house today so I'll be taking tomorrow off to move... Did I mention that I hate moving? After taking Saturday and Sunday of for moving, I'll be back to the grind today.. I always hate having to acclimate to new surroundings but in this case it is a brand new house that is all mine, so I guess I really can't complain too much... I'll adjust.. Yesterday I ended up training arms and I actually got a great workout in.. My triceps are pretty sore today.. Decline dumbbell skull crushers, single dumbbell extensions, cable extensions and burned out with dips... they are dead.. Oh yeah, I killed the biceps too... Today I trained Hammy's, calves and abs... I got a slow start but then found it!! strait bar dead's with 365 for two sets of 6.. It hurt as I'm trying to get away from using the hex bar.. I got a great calf workout in as well... Seated raises, followed by heavy raises on the leg press and then alternate raises on the leg press... Legs are sore, life is good..sigpicDarren Conroy

Today I trained traps and delts... 80's on shoulder press with ease! today was a pretty good day! I also did what I like to call the "dirty 30", a drop set consisting of shoulder extensions (30's for 10, 20's for 10 and 15's for 10)... Shoulders are dead! Missed my post from yesterday's workout... I trained Quads, Calves and Abs... I jumped back into my sets a bit faster causing my stomach to get upset about halfway through things.. Not to worry..
