            Had a little trouble getting in enough cals today, ran out of milk and some other key items, but I made it work, didn't get the full 3500, but I ate out last night and really stuffed myself...so it all evens out
            Did some heavy pull today in the gym, it was going great until I did some what I thought would be light rack pulls going into shrugs...but I'm paying for it now, lower back is all whacked out again...but I finally did it, I've got an appointment tomorrow morning with the chiro.

              Intro

              Had my chiro appointment this morning, then went back to sleep, woke up and trained clients from noon to 5...went home, ate, and then hit the gym. My back is feeling a bit better, but with regular adjustments and doing my exercises it should be recovered in a few months. BARELY couldnt hit 315 today on bench, definitely have 310 in me, and I'm gonna try again in 2 weeks. Good workout besides that

                    Intro

                    Trained and ate with Levi and Alberto (friends and fellow bodybuilers and powerlifters I've competed with) today. Awesome session, we did a full upper body workout, so I'm taking sunday off which is normally a back day for me. Couldnt really track calories today, but I ballparked em in my head, I had 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast, glass of soy milk and an apple before training, a roast beef sandwhich and sushi afterwards, a bowl of oatmeal later, and then a 12oz steak and broccoli as my last meal. Should have been around 3500kcals if my estimations are right.

                      • well folks, my back flared up pretty bad today, I just tried to get through a quick back and bis workout at work, and my low back is flaring up more easily and more easily as time goes on...last time it was 3 reps on rack pulls, with weight that shouldnt have been too heavy....this time it was bent over rows!

                        ...basically right now my lower back is telling me to lay off....its due time for a deload, and I've got like 3 christmas get togethers and a new years eve party that are going to make food tracking a pain...and I'm starting to soften up anyway...so the plan is to get a few sporatic workouts in, stop being anal with calories but still get my protein in and eat healthy, and then get 100% focused with a new program after the new year, I'm thinking about doing some modified German Volume Training and hitting up a 2 week mini cut yeah baby...just got done with some low volume high intensity, time to switch it up

                            My back is healing, and getting better, and yeah...your right...worst case scenario I stop deadlifting and just concentrate 100% on bodybuilding...and lose a few inches off my waist lol...
                            Anyway, took a little dieting and training hiatus but I'm back on the wagon now and re-focused....but I couldnt believe it...I got a new scale for xmas, and I stepped on it....213.4...wow....in 2 weeks of semi consistent training and ad libitum eating, I managed to lose 4lbs....I've gotten to the point where after bulking for a few months, I don't get hungry almost ever, and without my meal schedule and without weight training...I lose weight...I have to force feed just to maintain...lol....anyway, I'm taking advantage of this total lack of hunger and doing a mini cut...and I'm going to start a hybridized German Volume training cycle after the new year. I'm getting creatine back in my system and training heavy during this cut to regain some of the strength I lost...just missed 275 x 3 on bench yesterday, and got 225 x 9.5 after that....so I'm temporarily down in strength a tad....

                              Ok about halfway through my mini cut, just gonna run it a week, since I lost weight during my time off. Good push workout tonight, and I'm glad to be back in the gym regularly and on my meal schedule, I do well with the structure and it keeps me motivated.
