  • Monday March 17th Day 309

    Intro

    Chest is still lit up from the workout on friday...back to eating by the books today, I think I hit my caloric goals over the weekend...but not too cleanly, had pizza at my cuz's b-day and snuck in shakes when I could...definitely hit my protein and calorie requirements....but I bet my carbs were low and fats high...not a biggie.
    Hit up shoulders and arms today, and hit some prs and just got smoked...good stuff

        UPDATE

        so my in laws were here as of wednesday night and just left, so my last three workouts I haven't logged because we've been in san fran, old sac and out eating and stuff...but awesome updates

        Bench
        295 x 3!!!!!!!!

        I've never hit 295 x 2 before, even when i was benching 320...this is huge.

        Deadlift
        365 x 3 I havent deadlifted more than 3 plates for nearly 5 months now, this was tough, but it didn't hurt my back at all...I think I'm near 100% healed. A few more weeks to maybe a couple months of stretching, massage and chiro, and smart training and I should be doing deadlifts with the first number being a 4

        looking the biggest I've ever looked, comments from everybody, even people at work who see me regularly and my wife...

          Intro

          Crazy prs today, awesome workout, and I've been hittin the food hard, but ran out of peanut butter, and nuts, and I'm low on fat....and thus on calories...I've got a meal left and i'm probably going to drink some olive oil and eat a chicken breast...should put me where I need to be.

          that CGBP PR is nuts...I benched 320 when I could hit 225 x 6...so I don't even know what that means....and I hit 295 x 3 on regular bench wednesday last week.....I think in a month or two I'm gonna put on 315 and fucking triple it.

            thanks...and to answer what has gotten into my pressing lately....well it aint just pressing I've hit prs EVERYWHERE, well except on deads but I'm recovering from injury....BUT thats healing and I'm getting stronger on em...so...what's happening is I'm consistently hitting 3600-3800kcals with good macros on workout days, 3200-3500 on non workout days, I've got laser focus, a GREAT workout partner, and a schedule that gives me the perfect blend of recovery and stimulation, and works on my weak areas, and incorporates a perfect blend of variety and progression on foundational exercises. On top of that, I've been taking in probably 75-100g of whey protein isolate, of the highest quality from Golden Finish and true protein, 14g of EAA's from Purple Wraath, 5g of Leucine post workout from golden finish, and beta alanine, citrulline malate, and creatine from purple wraath and green bulge. I've got every base covered and I'm giving 110%.
            I have to thank Controlled Labs for being in my corner for so long...I was nervous when I decided to take a contest season off to gain mass in bodybuilding, but they were cool, and then I was REALLY nervous when I hurt my back and couldn't even powerlift in the interim....yet all I've been getting is support and top quality supplements, I couldnt ask for more.
            And meeting my workout partner, who is wiser (read older ) and who has the same injury as me has helped me to get a more patient, focused and relaxed yet motivated attitude in the gym and the kitchen. I'm blessed right now and taking full advantage of it.

              Eating is going good, supplementation is going great, I think my high intake of EAA's and leucine from PW and Golden Finish is helping me out with my gains as of late too. Frickin killin it in the gym.

                        2 hour workout today, hit up back HARD and then blasted calves. Feeling really good, weight is holding steady around 217ish...got calipered at work by 3 different people, 13.4-14.7% bodyfat was the spread of readings...so I'm guessing 14-15%. Which is good Lean body mass is up a couple pounds.
