  • What to fix?

    I've come back too working out after 2 weeks cause off solid work. Now my problem thought has always been in effect generally. Lets say im doing bench press for 4x8 and i can get 200lbs. with 1 or 2 sets with no spot. But then, I can only get like 185 or 180 on the last 2 sets. What should I do? I feel strong at first but idk. Should I drop the weight or what?

    If you don't have any form of consistency as far as getting into the gym, your lifts aren't very likely to go up.

    You could try some sort of pyramid scheme though. Maybe up the weight on later sets and shoot for 3-6 reps instead of 8.
