No, make a 50, 75, and 100 pd sandbag; you can do cleans, squats, shoulder presses, lunges, a multide of core exercises etc. with them
for a real rediculous indoor training session, combine a sandbags with a TRX and a jump rope if your insane (me)
all you need is a few square feet and a moderately raised ceiling (depending on height)
I got you. I do have some DB's, Curl Bar, Plates, Bench, Bike. I've been going all Rocky IV, hiking in that stuff. lol It's just getting boring after weeks of this, lol. Thinking I may need to pick some additional "at home" workout equip.
Seriously... it needs to get above 32 at some point right?? Sh*t won't melt! So it's alternating layers of ice/snow. Salt won't melt it bc it's too cold. I'm getting cabin fever!

Frrrrustrated much! More snow = no gym. My ability to get creative at home and stay challenging is getting harder now that I've had to workout so many days at home. Too many limitations. It's supposed to be much better next week, cross your fingers for me!
Ya I hate that. Ive had the same problem but its bc my gym has been closing alot. Sometimes it was only open 4hrs a day. I have a small wieght set and bench, jump rope, and pullup bar at home so I try to manage. Hey you can find someone to throw you Shih TZu back and forth to! Like a medicine ball! lol
LOL My gym has been closed a lot too and my road has been almost unpassable since before CMas. No mail service has delivered since like the 2nd week of Dec. Our road is considered a secondary road so the state has yet to take care of it.
I have some weights and stuff here, but there's only so much you can do... really just maintain not grow. Plus, it gets boring. I was out of town in FL for a week and got better workouts there... but still... get more accomplished in the gym...
LOL I have Shih Tzu's... they are like 6-7lbs. Not much of a wrestling match! I've been out shoveling snow and hiking through it, but I wanna get in the gym - I feel I haven't really been able to go at it since CMas eve! Grr!

You have a dog? Wrestle with it. I do that sometimes. I have 2 Labs and rarely do I win. Good workout

Once again, snow has managed to keep me out of the gym!! GRRR! Really getting frustrated! My legs need the work more than anything at this point! Since I'm writing this the day after... I will say I was a bit shocked that I was not sore today. Between the hiking (which was VERY steep hills and lots of snow!) and not doing legs much in the last few weeks... I should have been somewhat sore. Gotta give it up to PW and BG for that one!

This was my first "real" workout back from the Holidays and work trip to FL. It felt AWESOME!! I did feel a little weak, but don't feel that I lost much (because I was doing some workouts while gone). Whew! I'm very anxious to kick things back into gear, I'm more motivated than ever. I need to really focus on mixing up my exercises a bit more now, so I'm open for suggestions!
