  • The sugar in gatorade

    Is all the sugar in gatorade bad for you if your sweating prefously all day long? I usually consome at least five 20oz bottles a day with twice as much water to even it out.

    Yeah, drinking that much sugar water all day long is not the best thing for you if you are trying to stay or get lean. Consume meals every 3-4 hours and drink plenty of H2O and you will be fine.

    During or after an intense workout you may need some gatorade otherwise stick to good ole water.

      yeah and i read in musclemag i think
      that after drinking a gatorade, powerade etc. to drink lots of water after
      dont remember the reason why though

        Thanks guys, I usually have 4-5 20oz bottles a day now, with at least twice that in water. It just helps to have some flavor sometimes, you know?

          I believe the ideal ratio is 4x as much water as you consume in gatorade.

            Well I'll just cut the gatorade out in general, started mixing up 28oz of wraath and sipping on it. Time it to where I finish it on the way to the car after work.
