My girlfriend is interested in trying it out, and I'm looking to get some insight on the stuff. Seems like a basic fiber type supplement, prolly worth the 10$ or so it costs from most places...

It is as you say, a basic fiber, its in TrimSpa, sold as an appetite suppressant.
Worked for a year at Vitamin World, a few people bought it and swore buy it, havent tried it by itself personally but have in a few fat burners that it was an ingredient in.

cool -- good lookin out. I've always wanted to use a fiber supp myself, but never got motivated enough to buy one. maybe ill pick some up for her & I.

I have used the NOW brand Glocumannan. I first read about Glocumannan in Extreme Muscle Enhancement. My wife and I feel it suppress the appetite almost immediately, and it works well as a fiber supplement of course. I like HCA (Citrimax) for appetite suppressing personally.

i'll have to check the HCA citrimax out -- we've been using the NOW glucomannan as well, but I will be buying it in bulk powder and capping it myself (if necessary) once the current bottle is out.
