    Thanks asianbabe, I'm going to try and work legs today so we'll see how the lower back holds up.

    I'll post my workout tonight.

    Day 4

    I only logged my working sets for each exercise warm-up sets will not be logged. I usually perform one or two warm-up sets per exercise.

    BW = Body Weight
    HS = Hammer Stregth

    SM = Smith Machine
    * = Skipped Due To Injury

    Still nursing the sore back but did not want to change up my workout schedule so I worked legs cautiously. Skipped straight leg dead lifts all together for this reason but posted my standard sets, reps and weights for this exercise. I felt really strong today with a good pump and felt like I could have lifted much heavier but I admit I was afraid to push the back to far I want lift till they put me in the ground so I try not to push injuries.

    We had a guy in my gym tear the long head of his bicep from the bone at the shoulder. They went in and cleaned up the spurs off his shoulder which they said caused the bicep to disconnect but they did not reconnect the bicep... freaky!

    He was doing preacher curls with his usual weight I guess the spurs on this shoulder are what cut the tendon.

    I used the smith to hopefully help from hurting my back any further

    ouch, injuries are not fun and they are very expensive sometimes.

    Back feels better today about 85 percent. I had a pretty good arm workout today massive pump all through my workout some of my weights may seem low and rep count a little high next arm day I'm going to bump up my weight and try to keep my working set rep range around 8.

    I'm starting to add more detail to my workout chart. I do drop sets, half reps and static holds on a few exercises so I will start adding that in on my log.

    Default The Momma always said "Eat Your Greens" Green MAGnitude Log

    June 30th 2006

    Day 6

    Rest

    My current diet is a carb cycling diet and looks like this:

    Day 1 - High Carb (4 Ė 5 carb meals) Back/Shoulders/Abs or Legs/Abs
    Day 2 - Medium Carb (3 Ė 4 carb meals) Chest/Calves or Bi/Tri/Forearm/Calves
    Day 3 - Low Carb (2 carb meals) Rest
    Repeat

    If you look at my introduction post on this log you will see the meals that I eat. When changing a meal from a carb meal to a non-carb meal I will just add more meat and some more greens to that meal to replace the complex or sometimes referred to as impact carbs.

    When looking at my carb cycle diet you will see that I placed my low carb day on my rest days and my high carb days on leg and back days I think this is an important point. I obviously donít need the carbs on my rest days and really need them on back and leg days with back and legs being the biggest two muscle groups.

    Inspiration!

    Again is the day after the 06 Arnold... he said he was fat because he just ate some pizza.

    I only logged my working sets for each exercise warm-up sets will not be logged. I usually perform one or two warm-up sets per exercise.

    Today is Saturday so I worked out earlier then usual 10:30 AM. Still nursing the back so no T-Bar Rows for today feeling pumped but a little sluggish Iím used to working out at 6:30 PM with four or five meals under my belt. I donít really like working out on the weekends because I workout early and only have one meal driving my workouts. Canít wait for the back to be at 100%, feels good around 90% or so today.

    Another weekend workout 12:30 AM only one meal in not to impressed with my numbers but my back feels much better. Still feeling pumped and strong even though my numbers stayed pretty much the same from my last chest workout but that was during the week at my regular workout time and with four meals in so I guess my numbers being the same with less food driving me at this earlier time is actually pretty good for me.

    So far Iím liking the way I feel on Green MAGnitude and feel pretty strong I know gains are just around the corner.
