    The Momma always said "Eat Your Greens" Green MAGnitude Log

    Day 2

    I only logged my working sets for each exercise warm-up sets will not be logged. I usually perform one or two warm-up sets per exercise.

    BW = Body Weight
    HS = Hammer Stregth

    So I underestimated my back injury dew to the heavy old school T-Bar Rows yesterday. Over night my back tightened up on me and this morning I felt the pain. It was okay once I got moving around but I’m a computer network administrator and pretty much sit on my butt behind a keyboard all day (except for the trips to the rest room every 20 minutes thanks to the 2 gallons of water I’m drinking a day and the occasional hardware failure I have to go to a separate floor or building to fix).

    So I went to the Chiropractor at lunch and got adjusted and some electrode message then put on Bio Freeze every two hours. This helped a lot but I still felt weak and cautious during my workout. Not sure why but I always feel weak the day of and after I get a Chiropractic adjustment and being cautious not to injure my back any further my workout suffered mostly in the amount of reps I did per exercise which really pissed me off because I knew I was going to have to go home and report my workout to the CL community.

    Trust me next chest day will be all out!

    I also skipped Abs for today to save my back but I logged my standard ab workout.

              Thanks asianbabe, I'm going to try and work legs today so we'll see how the lower back holds up.

              I'll post my workout tonight.

                    * = Skipped Due To Injury

                    Still nursing the sore back but did not want to change up my workout schedule so I worked legs cautiously. Skipped straight leg dead lifts all together for this reason but posted my standard sets, reps and weights for this exercise. I felt really strong today with a good pump and felt like I could have lifted much heavier but I admit I was afraid to push the back to far I want lift till they put me in the ground so I try not to push injuries.

                    We had a guy in my gym tear the long head of his bicep from the bone at the shoulder. They went in and cleaned up the spurs off his shoulder which they said caused the bicep to disconnect but they did not reconnect the bicep... freaky!

                        He was doing preacher curls with his usual weight I guess the spurs on this shoulder are what cut the tendon.

                        I used the smith to hopefully help from hurting my back any further

                            Back feels better today about 85 percent. I had a pretty good arm workout today massive pump all through my workout some of my weights may seem low and rep count a little high next arm day I'm going to bump up my weight and try to keep my working set rep range around 8.

                            I'm starting to add more detail to my workout chart. I do drop sets, half reps and static holds on a few exercises so I will start adding that in on my log.
