  • Fatkid's Blue Up/Hydroxycut/Lean Green Log

    Ok, my first log so bear with me and feel free to suggest things i need to include.

    Supps for the next 30 days:
    Hydroxycut Hardcore
    Blue Up (stim free)
    Lean Green
    L-Carnitine
    Flax seed oil
    Fish Oil
    One-a-day Cholesterol formula
    ON's 100% whey Protein -cookies and cream

    Nutrition:

    Breakfast: steel cut oats with rasisns, string cheese
    Meal 2: chicken/steak salad with a piece of fruit
    Meal 3: Protein Shake, half of a wheat bagel
    Meal 4: high protein low carb dinner (varying per night) with lots of veggies!
    Meal 5: piece of fruit, snack veggies, snack protein (probably beef jerky, etc.)

    Workout: (very limited due to being home for one month per year)
    Mon-Fri:
    mornings- total gym workout- 20 reps X [chest flyes, straight arm pull downs, tricep ext., and bicep curls] and 3 sets of each exercise.
    Evening- 30 min. cardio (bike or treadmill) 15X [overhead press, BB curl, dips (unweighted), lateral raises, light weight squats]
    due to lack of weights all exercises will be light weight high rep for muscle tone
    Nightime- 2 mile walk/jog

    Weekends:
    3 mile walk/jog daily

    Cheat day (saturdays but since i am really trying to lose weight i need to co ntrol these)

    Weigh in and measurements in the morning!

    Wt: 200 lb.s
    BF: 20.4% (6/9/06)
    17% (8/2/06)
    Age 20

    Weighed in today: 205 lb.s

    Supps:
    took 2 hydroxcut hardcore twice
    3 fish oil (morn/even/night)
    2 flax seed oil (morn/night)
    2 Lean Green (morn/night)
    2 Blue Up (45 min. before workout)
    2 L-Carnitine (morn/night)
    One-a-day multi

    Workout:
    Total gym (harder than it sounds!)
    3 sets
    20 reps pec flyes
    20 reps straight arm pull down
    20 reps tricep ext.
    20 reps curls (last set only made 15)

    Nutrition:
    meal 1: cheese stick and protein shake
    meal 2: Romaine salad w/ 8 oz. chicken, and feta cheese.
    Meal 3: 2 scoops whey protein with skim milk (never doing this again!) and half a wheat bagel
    meal 4: Greek Poultry burger on white roll with 1 cup veg medley
    Meal 5: bananna and half a green pepper

    Thoughts:
    -not much from the hydroxy hardcore, no feelings of jitter or being wired
    -blue up seemed to help with the workout, i could do 20 reps per set instead of 15
    -GNC's carnitine isn't in capsules and it tastes horrible.
    -no energy this evening to finish the cardio or evening lifting hoping for a good night's sleep to prepare for tommorow.

      Weighed in: 198.3 lb.s

      Supps:
      bumping up to the normal dosage of 3 capsules twice a day,

      Nutrition:
      Breakfast- 1 egg + 1 egg white, 1/4 cup baby portabella mushrooms, 1 pinch italian blend cheese plus 1 bannana

        can't edit my earlier post so a new one i guess:

        Supps:
        continued supps schedule with hydroxycut hardcore 3 capsules in the morn and 3 more in the evening.
        All other supps same as previous day

        Nutrition:
        Breakfast shown above
        Lunch (1pm), small steak salad with feta cheese
        Dinner (4pm) Small portion of whole wheat pasta with Organic Marinara sauce, 1 slice whole wheat texas toast and 6oz. italian seasoned pork chop (awesome meal i found in a book)
        Snack (7pm) 1 green pepper + 1 bananna+bubble tea (green tea with fruit juice and tapiocca balls(so good))
        Snack 2(11pm) protein shake with half bag of cut carrots

        Workout: Total Gym
        3 sets and 20 reps of: chest flyes, straight arm pull down, bicep curls, and tricep extensions

        2.3 mile walk/light jog

        Thoughts:
        1)upping the dose of hydroxyhardcore made my stomach rumble, i have that feeling where you can't tell if you're hungry or just barely full. I noticed when sitting my leg bounces a bit but overall i dont have the jittery feeling
        2) Huge dissapointment today, visited my chriopractor due to worsening back pain and he is recommending i stop all dead lifts and switch from squats to lunges due to continued damage to a herniated disc in my lower back and did i mention
        3) Reviewing what kind of exercises I can perform at night to further tone my current muscle structure.


        Okay, IF anyone is reading this log, can i get some tips/suggestions on how to improve this log? This is my first full log so i'm sure this could be improved somehow.

            • chest flyes (maybe add weight/pbs in here..?)
            • straight arm pull down
            • bicep curls
            • tricep extensions

            Thoughts:
