      Thanks man, need something to help me level my mood and perk me up for sure. But the good news is that I have a new job prospect that will a very positive move. i am just waiting for all the kinks to get ironed out.

        General Feelings:
        Felt pretty rested for the most part, had a very busy weekend with the family and spent 9+ hours painting the inside of our house and climbing up and down a 24’ step ladder. I did reinjure my right thumb by throwing my son up in the air on the pool at the gym. Not too sore but do have a loss of strength in my right hand again.

        Workout:
        Despite the busy weekend and only 4 hours max of sleep I felt relatively good heading into the gym. The workout was really strong and I hit a PR on reverse band presses. The thumb issue did come into play as the pressure from the weight for reverse band presses and reverse grip bench really made it hard to hold the bar. Needless to say that I was still very pleased with my over all workout and it was a true ME day!

              General Feelings:
              Despite little rest this weekend and lots of late nights and early mornings, I felt pretty good today. I only got 4 hours of sleep last night but still felt good. Stress has come down but I still have some looming decision to make that are on my mind quite a bit.

              Workout:
              Changing my workouts some and decreasing some of the exercises on my ME days, I was on the verge of over training with all the other added stress going on so we will see how this helps.

              Hit a new PR on 2 boards today, I have never done 485 at any rep range before and felt really good going up. Wish I had my camera to film it so I could have wanted my form. The skull crushers felt good but I could tell that I was at my end so I just did some light shoulder work

              Will try to move my conditioning to the evening and not after workout as much except on DE days or GPP days, no more on ME days.

              Was very pleased with today’s ME workout, mentally I think I had a couple more exercises in me but physically I think it was a good idea to stop where I did.

              Conditioning:
              10 minutes of stairs.

                General Feelings:
                Been feeling much better, not as burned out or stressed. I feel I am handling the stress better and more motivated to do things. The only thing that really bugs me is there is one thing that I just keep waiting for to take place, I keep getting the answer in a month but yet that started about 3 weeks ago and is the same answer every time. But God has his timing and I need to listen to Him and not let things get to me.


                Workout:
                Workout went too good today. The decrease in exercises has helped with recovery, motivation, and recovery. However I was too amped or something today as I just could not quit lifting, did a little too much today.

                  General Feelings:
                  Still feel pretty good as I did yesterday. Was more tired this morning due to the amount of exercises yesterday but still feeling pretty good. Mood is improving as is general well being.

                  I am however bummed and concerned as my workout partner is having health issues and is not sure what it is. His doc thinks his heart medicine may be scaring his lungs as his breathing is getting difficult and burns.

                  Workout:
                  Still doing some light work and after taking some time in between sets to talk to my workout partner and convince him NOT to lift. I just did a few exercises. The walking lunges really burned my arches so I finished up and quit. Not sure why the sprints did not but a couple of the speed drills did. The pool was killer and my legs have never been so pumped in my life!

                  Conditioning:
                  Went crazy! Sprints on basketball court, speed drills and other drills, and pool sprints.

                        LOL! I have never been one for heavy lateral raises, I think it compromises form too much to be jerking the weight vs controlled movement.

                            Hey nice of you to stop in! I will be sure to stop by and say "hi". Are you going to be running the weigh ins? I plan on showing up on Friday and I possibly have another buddy of mien coming up to compete as well. How did you stumble upon us?

                            I have been wanting to do this one for the past couple of years but something has always come up or not prepared in time, plus been out of th escene for a few years. It looks to be one fun contest that is for sure. What weight division are you competing in?
