Apple slashes i-Phone prices

The price cut is from $599 to $399 for the 8-gigabyte iPhone

Apple stock dropped more than 5 percent after the price cut was announced Wednesday, closing at $136.76, down $7.40. In extended trading, the share price fell another $1.01

Still too expensive for me. The Razr phone started off at $400 - I bought mine a few months ago for $70

the chocolate was awesome for the first few months (i got mine like day 1 last summer practically) and then it sucked, everyone had one. in whatever color too . =(

Right, $100 credit for the apple stores or website. But still, it was their own fault for paying $500 for something that would obviously experience a price drop in the following months.

i hate ipods. all my music is in windows media, i was furious when i had to move files to itunes to put them on the ipod.

I cant believe they didn't think about this first. 33% is too much to drop in one shot. they should have gone to 499 then in 3 months to 399
