I've got a kick ass deli in Peoria that has 33 different flavored marinaded chicken breasts. They only have 15 out that are fresh, which they change the flavors each week or they have all flavors frozen. Like 3.99 lb, sucks I have to give those up for contest prep, back to mrs dash/sea salt yum yum..lol

Damn...what's the name of the deli? I'm not far from Peoria. Might have to make a short trip up there.

As for seasonings at home. It depends on how lazy I am when i'm cooking up the chicken.
Lazy = sea salt, garlic powder, fresh ground black pepper...or some Tony Chachere's creole seasoning. They even have a lite or a salt free version. Some other good ones are Andy Roo's Cajun seasoning or some Slap Yo Mama (I got hooked on sprinkling this on my cottage cheese...I'm weird)

When i'm not being lazy I throw the chicken in a marinade consisting of:
                    honey
                    soy sauce
                    sesame oil
                    olive oil
                    tobasco
                    chopped green onions
                    minced garlic
                    ginger

Mmmm. gotta love chicken. I like to keep it simple and tasty.

What I normally do is get some montreal chicken spice. Now I know its loaded with sodium. To minimize that but keep the taste all throughout the chicken is to mix a little bit of the spice in some water. then poke your chicken with your fork to make a bunch of holes in it. poor the spicewater on the chicken and it will go into the holes. You don't need much spice at all. just a little sprinkle. It does the trick nicely. Doesn't sound too appealing but its very tasting. its Malky's lazy marinating sauce.
Failure is only a word. I don't plan on giving it meaning
