    7 Week Measurements

    7 Week Measurment Updates

    Weight: 188lbs (+1lbs)
    Arms: 15.25"(no change)
    Chest: 40.75" (+.125")
    Shoulders: 47.625" (+.125")
    Waist: 32.125" (+.125")
    Calves: 15.375" (no change)
    Thighs: 24" (+.125")
    Forearms: 13" (+.125")
    Neck: 15.5" (no change)

    Measurement Thoughts:
Another good week of measurements. I got some solid growth in alot of different areas, and only a very slight increase in the waist, which I can deal with. Happy to be up another pound and still getting good growth. Everything appears to still be on track and I dont plan on making any adjustments calorie wise.

Thanks alot for the kind words and I hope the Mag works out for you. In combination with a solid diet, I dont really see it not working. It is one of the better creatine products I have tried, and extremly economical. Plus you get the FLAVA, haha.

Im glad my log was helpful in making your supplement decision.

              Day 50

              Saturday Rest Day

Well, I had planned on trying the Green Mag slushies again, but I honestly just forgot when I woke up this morning. Instead it was just a nice morning glass on lemonade with a few ice cubes in it. Followed the serving up with some oats and a protein shake. I have some slight soreness lingering in my legs from Thursday's workout and also some tricep soreness this morning. Maybe some stretching will alleviate that later. Everything else is looking good.

                Day 51

                Sunday Rest Day

Morning serving of Green Mag was taken just before my morning oats and protein shake. Yesterday turned out to be a pretty busy day actually. Me and my dad changed my truck's brake rotors, brake pads, and rotated the tires. Then I ran to the store. Hopefully I get a little more rest today and maybe get a chance to take a nap. Actually looking forward to a very nice, easy day.

                  Workout Thoughts:
Really happy with today's workout. This was the first time that I got back onto the BB Bench in a few weeks. For some reason, I was having issues with them before I switched to DBs exclusively. Today went well though. I felt strong on all my lifts and increased on the lifts from the last time I did them. I also felt pretty good on the BB incline, although I like DBs better for incline press because I feel it targets the upper chest better. The cable flyes went very well and I finished off with some weighted dips. All in all, I was very happy to feel good on the BBs again, so it was a solid workout.

                  Workout Ratings
                  Energy/Focus: 8.5/10
*good focus and energy was there

                  *pretty solid endurance throughout
                  Strength: 8.5/10
*strength was good and felt reinvigorated with BB bench
                  Workout Overall: 8.5/10
                  *happy with the workout

                  Green Mag Thoughts:
I was really happy to find my strength felt good once again on the bench. I still might stick to DB work more often, just because I feel like I get more control and a better squeeze with them. Nevertheless, it feels good to know that my strength is back with the BBs. My numbers are a little lower on the DB inclines, but that is a factor of doing those directly after BB inclines, not because I wasnt strong today. Strength was up on my Cable Flyes and I had a crazy pump in my chest after I finished my final set of weighted dips.

                    Workout Thoughts:
Today's workout was excellent. I had the best pump I have ever had in my lats, and I have the close grip side to side pullups to thank for that. Some dude came up to me in the gym today and told me to try them out and I loved them. They are done by taking the close grip handle that you would use for seated rows or close grip pulldowns, and placing it over the pullup bar. You then grab onto the grips so that one hand is holding onto the handle on each side of the pullup bar. Then you alternate pulling your shoulder up towards the bar (head to the left side of the bar, then head to the right side of the bar). I was sceptical of them at first, but they are awsome. I was really happy about finding these. Unfortunatly, I wasnt so happy with some lower back pain once again when I started deads. I think I am going to make an appointment with the doc to get it checked out, because I dont understand why it would still be hurting, especially since I have no idea when I hurt it. Hopefully all goes well with that. Nevertheless, today was an awsome workout.

                    Green Mag Thoughts:
The pump in my back was incredible today. Definitely one of the better back pumps I have had in awhile. Pullups went great and everything else felt good, with the exception of the lower back pain. I will be getting that checked out and hoping for the best. Still have zero complaints about Green Mag.

                      Workout Thoughts:
Great workout today. I actually had to workout later in the day then I normally do because I had a dentist appointment this morning. I just tweaked my diet a little to get a good preworkout meal in. My shoulders had a crazy pump and were absolutly done at the end of my workout. Just to make it clear. All my smith numbers are treating the bar as if it were 45lbs. It just makes it easier for me to standardize my weights and know what to throw on the bar. So in actuallity, all those weights are probably about 30lbs lighter. Anways, the workout went great today and I was really happy with all of my numbers.

                      Green Mag Thoughts:
More PRs and another great workout. Not much else to be said. Green Mag has been doing everything as promised and I havent had one complaint yet. Taste, price, performance, and overall value are all spot on. What else can you ask for?

                        Workout Thoughts:
Today was somewhat strange. My old highschool has an alumni soccer game each year in which alumni come back and play against the current highschool team. I played in that on Tuesday and I still had some soreness in my legs from it when i woke up this morning (my body just wasnt used to all that kicking and stuff). I wasnt sure whether I should go in and work my legs, or push the workout back to Saturday. However, the soreness wasnt very bad so I went in anyway. I am very glad that I did. As soon as I got in there my mind went into overdrive and I had a great workout. Intensity was great and I had an awsome pump in my legs. Im talking about the kind of pump that makes you sort of walk straight legged because your legs are so tight. Needless to say I made the right decision and had a great workout.

                        Green Mag Thoughts:
Another great workout today. Endurance, focus, intensity, and pumps were all top notch from start to finish. Just in case anyone doesnt know, the pulse squats that I did are performed by constantly going all the way down and then only coming up a little past 3/4s. You keep constant tension on the legs and do not release that tension until the weight is reracked. Highly recommend these. On a side note, I was able to find our old slushie machine, so that should make my Green Mag slushies easier to make. Once I perfect the recipe, I will put it up.

                          Workout Thoughts:
Today's pump was incredible. It was almost painful everytime I bent my arms. Needless to say, I was really really happy with how the workout went. Each set was performed with great concentration and a full, hard squeze at the contractions peak. I had great strength and endurance and that kept the workout intensity high from start to finish. I finished off with my usual ab circuit, but just to switch things up, I went with bodyweight on everything and executed a higher rep scheme.

                          Workout Ratings

*really good endurance, especially since everything was superset
                          Strength: 9/10
                          *excellent strength
                          Workout Overall: 9/10

                          Green Mag Thoughts:
Green Mag is still treating me well. Arm pumps continue to be absolutly insane and I'm not sure I would want to add in an additional pump supplement. Workouts have been great, pumps awsome, and endurance and stamina through the roof. Not much else I could ask for. This weeks updated measurements will be posted momentarily.

                              Measurement Thoughts:
While I am not thrilled to see the numbers havnt improved much from last week, I am not surprised by this. I played in two soccer games this week (Tuesday and Thursday) that were pretty intense and definently some hardcore cardio. I tried to up the calories in response, but I could tell based on my weigh ins the day after the games that I had undershot. As a result, I am not planning on increasing the calories this upcoming week just because I know if it wasnt for all the additional cardio, my weight would have likly increased. Not too big of a deal. Gains should be back on track next week.
