  • Choosing a new BCAA - help from CL community

I've been using Xtend for a couple of years, and I'm about 1/2 way through my last tub (usually have a couple or so in stock) ... after doing some cost comparisons and searching various forums for feedback, I figured I should check with the knowledgeable members of this forum as well.

I've narrowed my list down to these three and they are all priced about the same with similar quantities and serving sizes:

    Xtend - tried and true
ICE - read good things about this
Excell - not as much feedback on this but it's all been positive

So, has anyone here tried ICE or Excell and what were your impressions? Had you used BCAA's before to be able to compare your use of it?

    ... thanks in advance

Can't go wrong with Excell. It's a few bucks cheaper than xtend and tastes/works great.

Any idea how many BCAAs are in PW?

Its a prop. blend - 7g of EAA (which contains bcaa)
So I'd say: A good amount!

That's what I was thinkinging. Sounds like PW covers your BCAA bases.

Just buy some bulk Leucine and add it to your PW.

Each of the three has its own benefits personally I prefer Xtend.

Xtend: Best Flavoring and Good "Mixability"
ICE: Good Flavoring although not as good as Xtend and similar "Mixability"
Excell: Non-Colored which I like but flavoring is to weak and does not mix as well as the others

Although I the Excell I had was from the first run and I have no idea is XF has reflavored ICE since the tubs I have are probably fairly old.
