  • Omega 3 Fats

I've been doing a bit of research on Omega 3/6/9 fatty acids, and it seems that If you have a excessive amount of Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio you're at risk for a multitude of diseases etc.... Omega 9 is fairly unimportant because you body makes it if you have a deficiency in Omega 3 and Omega 6 and is not nearly as useful.

Right now I'm trying to find good deals on Fish Oils, Flax Seed Oils, etc... (Any other Omega 3 high liquid as well). I'm not interesting in taking capsules, I'd rather have a liquid that I could just poor into a protein shake and down it. It seems that most of these oils are relatively expensive. I'm trying to find fish or flax seed oil at like $.25 or less per serving from a reputable brand. I'm planning on trying to get around 3 servings of either Fish Oil or Flax seed oil per day.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I never add it to shakes... I did start it with orange juice in a shot glass (or small glass similiar to a shot).. but it tastes fine on its own..

take with a meal or drink alot of water after it to prevent bad sides

If you look at the nutritional statement, it says that it has 4360mg of fish oil with about 1185mg being Omega 3. What is the rest of that made up of, and is it beneficial?

          i think omega 6& 9

their good at small elvels, can be toxic at abnormal excessive amounts I think.. ( if not toxic just bad over a long period)

i think the rest is just the oil itself. it's not omega 6 or 9, otherwise it would say so.
