I love 5x5. I've seen my best gains since starting it.

Here's my results from the first time running it:

I recently started 5x5 again after trying a few other programs. The link to my new journal is in my sig.

I have started 5x5 training....But I can't seem to properly figure out what exactly is meant....

Is it 5 sets of one exercise, or one specific body part....

like 5 sets bench, 5 sets DB press.....

Or just 5 sets bench, then move on different muscle group?

It's a lot more than simply 5 sets of 5 reps.

Read the link listed by PU, there is a lot of info there.

im on my fift week on liner 5x5, enjoying it thus far.

could imagine it getting 'boring' after a while.
but yeah that geocities site is where i get most my info from - seems good.

The reason I stopped the first time was because I got a bit bored of it. But after trying a couple other programs and not seeing the gains I'm back on 5x5 again
