I have tried it in the past and didn't like it. Keep in mind that your shoulders take a beating while training chest already.. I felt as if I were overtraining. I really enjoy the push / pull while training traps and delts on the same day...sigpicDarren Conroy

not i...
you use shoulders for both workouts, i find i get over trained if i do that much shoulder movement close together. My basic split looks like this lately:
Chest/tri
Back/bi
Shoulder/traps/neck
Lowerbody
it follows two rules i have for myself, 1) give shoulders a break, and 2) never do lowerbody day after back and vice versa.Last edited by Illilian; 04-07-2012, 01:20 PM.

I would say it's because your lower back needs a chance to heal up... Your back takes quite a beating when you are training legs, if you are not careful you could easily throw out your back..sigpicDarren Conroy
