Had a political science final today, think I rocked the thing. Afterwards I took any frustrations out in the gym. Arms/back day.

    Wide lat pulldowns: 10 x 11
    8 x 12
    5x 14

    Close grip lat pulldowns: 10 x 13
    10 x 12
    4 x 14

    Kobras (Cable lats) 10 x 11
    10 x 12
    4 x 14

    machine rows: 10 x 11
    10 x 14
    5 x 16

    Preacher curls: 10 x 85
    5 x 105
    2 x 105

    DB Hammer curls: 10 x 37.5
    7 x 45
    5 x 45

    Stiff-legged deadlift: 10 x 125
    10 x 175
    10 x 225

Thoughts: Wow, I've had bigger numbers on these lifts before but this lift was intense. I finished a good 20 minutes quicker than this usually takes me.

around 7:45 I popped 3 pills of N and sat around for awhile. Still feeling very calm now as I type this. I have a final tomorrow but I'm not concerned at all about it. I can drop a test in the class and I don't even have to show up tomorrow to get a B+ in the course. I'm going to take it anyway just because it can't hurt me at all and I can potentially pull my grade up. With that being said I really could care less and am just trying to kick back and relax...so far so good.

      Weighed in at 184.5

Quick leg day, no neuphoria use.

      Leg Press: warmup - 10 x 200, 10 x 290
      10 x 470
      10 x 650
      5 x 740

      Calf raises: 12 x 270
      2 @ 10 x 360

      Leg Curl: 10 x 7
      10 x 8
      3 x 9

      Leg extension: 10 x 10
      10 x 12
      7 x 14

Just really happy today, had a final but I didn't study at all and it was only 50 questions, all recycled from previous tests. It was really easy and the rest of the day I just sat around and relaxed. To sum up: Good day, no N use.

Yesterday was a chest/shoulder/tri day. Buddy couldn't lift til 5 - personally I'm not a big fan of this. I'd much rather lift in the afternoon but...whatever.

Took 2 caps of neuphoria due to the time and me just wanting a boost.

          Flat Bench: warmup, 135 x 10, 185 x 5
          220 x 6
          2 @ 235 x 5
          250 x 2
          250 x 1

          Incline: 155 x 8
          165 x 6
          185 x 3

          DB flies: 3 @ 50's x 10

          Dips: 3 sets @ 20
(didn't want to wait around for the guy to finish using the belt)

          Tri pushdown: 8 x 8
          6 x 9
          4 x 10

          Shrugs: 225 x 10
          255 x 10
          275 x 5

After that we just called it a day. His shoulder was bothering him and at that point in the day we were just going through the motions. Shame on me, I know. I had trouble breathing all day for some reason, I thought maybe I was coming down with something. It was like I would take a breath and not be satisfied with it until a few later when I got a good one in...awkward I know. Maybe there was just a bunch of things throwing me off, but I was in good spirits at least I was very disappointed with my flat bench as well. Those aren't good numbers for me. I suppose I should expect as much while trying to maintain/gain strength while losing weight but regardless, it sucks and I wasn't happy with it. No worries, I'll get em next time!

No partner, skipped the deadlifts for today. Last day in the gym before going home for x-mas break. Gym closed and I actually have a final before hitting the road for a nice 4 hour drive tomorrow so no leg day.

Nice to be done with finals and be home for a bit. My sister belongs to a local gold's gym and she had some 12 day free pass coupon so I was pretty stoked that I didn't have to pay to join anything while I'm home for the holidays.

With that being said going to a gym for the first time is always somewhat fun, and it takes a little bit of getting used to. I feel like I'm coming down with a cold...in fact I know I am. I took 3 caps of N before driving to the gym.

              Flat Bench: warmup: 135 x 10, 185 x 5
              225 x 5
              4 @ 235 x 4
              255 x 3

              Incline: 135 x 10
              155 x 10
              165 x 5

              DB Flies: 3 @ 50's x 10

DB Tri-things? don't know the name of this exercise they didn't have any weight belts so instead of weighted dips I pulled these out, feels similar to skullcrushers but you take a DB and lay on a bench and extend the DB out, then bring it in near your head and lift back. Regardless - 3 @ 30's x 10

              Tri-pushdowns: 10 x 57.5
              8 x 67.5
              4 x 77.5

              Tricep extension machine: 10 x 90
              6 x 125
              4 x 140

              Shrugs: 225 x 10
              255 x 5
              275 x 4

              Upright Row: 3 @ 100 x 8

              Mil Press: 110 x 7, x 5, x 4

One very noticable thing at 3 caps is the cayenne. I can feel the thermogenics as I feel myself sweating. I don't notice it nearly as much at 2 caps. Pretty good workout though considering I feel this cold coming on and I didn't have a workout partner or anyone to toss me a spot. After the lift I drove home and felt rather mellow, its a nice feeling.

As I had feared, I've come down with a cold. I know nobody actually likes having a runny nose all the time but I despise it, it doesn't even stop me from doing anything - its just a nuisance.

Regardless I still made it to the gym, didn't take any N.

                Preachers: 65 x 10

                DB Rows: 95 x 10
                105 x 8
                105 x 5

                Curl machine: 110 x 10
                140 x 6
                170 x 2

                Kobras: 120 x 10
                150 x 6

Let me start off by saying....Wednesday didn't happen at all. In fact, I think I was legally able to classify myself as "hibernating". I spent the day getting very intimate with a bottle of nyquil, but this morning when I woke up I felt much better. Not 100%, but...well enough that I made it into the gym to spread around some germs. I popped 2 N pills right before getting started for a little extra boost to get me through the day.

                  Flat bench warmup: 135 x 10, 185 x 5, 225 x 5
                  235 x 5
                  2 @ 235 x 4
                  255 x 3

                  Inclines: 135 x 10
                  155 x 6
                  165 x 7

                  Flies: 3 @ 50 x 10

                  Tri-pushdowns: 62.5 x 10
                  72.5 x 10
                  82.5 x 5

                  Kickbacks: 30 x 10
                  40 x 10
                  50 x 8

                  S-shrugs: 225 x 10
                  255 x 10
                  295 x 8

                  DB front shoulder raises: 3 @ 10 x 25's

                  Mil Press: 110 x 6
                  130 x 4

Then I left, I was tired. Realistically I shouldn't have been there today but I absolutely hate missing out on days, especially chest (call it an ego thing, thats exactly what it is) It doesn't help that I'm just a wee bit stubborn too. Anyway, I feel like I've conquered the worst parts of this cold and it is on its way out. Also only a week left of lifting at home without a partner so I should be able to push myself more after this coming week.

No N today, feeling much better and I imagine in a day or so I'll be back at 100%.
Tell you what though, OW my left forearm was not feeling good today. Don't know what I did yesterday but wooo thats not right. Slept in an awkward position last night though and woke up with sore shoulders and a neck, could have been sleeping on the arm too who knows - I'm not worried about it.

                    Preachers: 65 x 10
                    85 x 10
                    105 x 6, x 4, x 4

                    Hammers: 3 @ 50 x 8

                    Wide-grip lats: 150 x 8
                    2 @ 165 x 6
                    Close grips- 165 x 10
                    180 x 10
                    210 x 4

                    Rows - machine: 180 x 10
                    210 x 7
                    225 x 5

                    Curl Machine: 3 @ 140 x 5

I miss my school's gym and doing deadlifts and having a partner. Tomorrow I've got some obligatory family x-mas party...with the mom's half of the family - absolutely love my dad's half but mom's half is all old and awkward...I'm probably gonna take a nice dose of neuphoria before going tomorrow it should be interesting.

Alright its been awhile! Hope everyone had a nice holiday. I really don't know what I'm doing this week, not having monday threw me off and also tomorrow a girl is driving out from pittsburgh to see me and we'll be spending the day together so I'll try to hit the gym but, we shall see. Today I mixed things up, I actually would like to hit all my parts twice this week or at least give it a valiant effort, so I went ahead and did the chest/shoulder tri workout today. On a side note I ate damn well over the past few days. Cheated a lot, thats all I'm gonna say, but not worried about it in the slightest.

Took 2 caps of N before driving today. It was on an empty stomach early in the morning. I've never taken it like this before and I felt it was a huge difference. I actually was driving to the gym and missed my exit as I was just zoning listening to music. That was mildly humorous. Anyway....

                      Flat Bench: warmup: 135 x 10, 185 x 5, 225 x 5

Arms/back today - I know things are all sorts of messed up. I played around with something different today, less pyramiding of weights. Tomorrow will be the last workout at this home gym so I'm pretty stoked to get back into my own territory Took 3 caps of N - things went rather smoothly - left arm was a little sore after doing some sets of the curls but its much better than it was after last friday. Nothing I can't handle

Ok friday I lifted chest/shoulders/tri's....Saturday I drove back to school and the gym did not re-open until today (we were back around school before we were really supposed to be) So I wasn't able to lift until today where I did legs/abs. I forgot my notebook though so unfortunately I wasn't able to keep track of what happened specifically - It wasn't anything special. Neither days did I take any N.

Regardless, its good to be back at school - I weighed in today at 184. So X-mas didn't seem to hit me TOO hard despite my drinking + sneaking cookies and such. 2 months until Cancun though so...Its time to get serious.

Anyway Friday's chest workout looked like this

                            Flat BP Warmup: 135 x 10, 185 x 5
                            4 @ 235 x 4
                            255 x 3

                            Incline: 155 x 8
                            165 x 6
                            185 x 5

                            Flies: 3 @ 50 x 10

                            Tri-DB thing...(described in earlier post) 3 @ 30 x 8

                            Chest Press: 190 x 6
                            210 x 3,
                            210 x 4

                            Tri- Pushdown 3 @ 77.5 x 8

Mil Press: (this machine I've used for this exercise while at home has been very difficult...it was odd)
                            110 x 7
                            110 x 5
                            110 x 3

                            Front DB shoulder raises: 3 @ 25's x 8

                            Shrugs: 225 x 10
                            245 x 8
                            295 x 5
                            315 x 4

All in all I survived the break and holiday season. Time to get back to work.

2 pills of N pre-workout today, I find this dosage works best for me.
