Glycerol and WADA drug testing

I have a question about GlycerGrow and the recent change in the WADA banned list (World Anti Doping Agency). Glycerin is now listed as a plasma expander under the DIURETICS AND OTHER MASKING AGENTS category.

Does anyone know how long glycerol will stay in the body in a testable form? For example, it is common for a mixed martial artist to weigh-in 24 to 30 hours before fighting. Our drug test isn't until after fighting. If we consume a few servings of glycerol immediately after making weight, will it lead to a positive drug test the next day?

I have not been able to find any factual information on this topic. If anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm not sure either, but the fact that it is on the banned list indicates that there are methods. There must be a way to determine specific concentrations within blood and/or urine. I've emailed the WADA but am still awaiting a reply. If I find anything useful from them, I will share it here.

I am studying sports nutrition with the IOC and have to write a paper on the 'for and against' argument of adding glycerol to the list of prohibited substances.
I too have emailed Wada to ask for additional info on their decision making process for including glycerol.
I am awaiting a reply.
Keen to swap any info on the topic - I have only just started researching so will post stuff of interest as I find it.
