Fish Oil in the Freezer

I usually buy a year supply of fish oil at a time and keep it in the freezer till i am going to use it and then put the one bottle I am using in the fridge. Is this a good way of storing the fish oil or is this going to cause any problems?

Very interesting. By no means do I have the knowledge to give you a 100% correct answer but I would say it is probably better not to. I know fish loses nutrients if left in a freezer for an extended period of time so possibly it can occur with fish oil. I may be way off. But I plan on looking that up now. Good question.

the freezer is the best place for it as its out of the UV light. however, you can use it from the freezer, no need to move the current bottle to the fridge

Makes sense. I found nothing that would suggest any negative affects to the oil. Also, some say it may help with decreasing the amount of "fish burps".
