    Gday people...

    Got my order of Blue Gene into Oz (working fine this time )

    I have taken it before but had a couple of questions you guys may be able to help me with on my new stack I start in Feb. I am taking GG for the first time and am a bit anxious on how I will feel with it seeing all the warnings on the label in terms of stomach upsets etc.

    My routine will be as follows....

    Gym - 4 days on, 1 day off, strict for 1 mth. All workouts on weekdays will be early morning, weekends will be morning but after b'fast.

    Weekdays (which I am needing the advice for).

    5 am get up - take blue gene
    5:30 - 5:40am - GG, chased by WF and GM mixed with 600-700ml water
    6am - gym - WF and PIT with about 600-700ml water
    7:40 - b'fast / protein smoothie

    My question on blue gene is - it says take 60 min pre workout. This is the bugger for me as I need to get up a whole hour before gym. I would prefer to get up 5:20 or so, take BG, then 10 mins later have the GG, WF, GM, then hit the gym at 6am still.
    Would this work, or is it vital to have the BG 60 mins pre workout?

    Also, should I eat anything pre workout as well? I usually dont, maybe 1 piece of plain toast.

    I take BG 45 mins prior to WO. This is what works for me:

    4:15am BG
    4:30am GB
    4:45am WF
    5:00am PW/PI during WO
    GGS after WO.

    Again, this is what works for me. Try it out.

      Some people take BG (including myself) about 30 minutes pre-workout. I've never had any problems with upset stomach but I don't know how sensitive you are.

        40 minutes should be fine as long as you dont have any high fat in your meal

            great, 30-40 mins prior to workout then....... I need that extra sleep!!!

            I pretty much dont have anything before workout in terms of meal, as its at 5:30 in morning, so I should be fine.

              you shouldnt really workout on an empty stomach first thing in the morning like that

                I've been doing that for a while now and have felt ok???
                Have not felt anything detrimental.......
                Its the most convenient time for me, as it is hard to get away from work on time for evening sessions.

                    So would this be ok then (assuming I need to workout at 6am)

                    get up at 5am, have banana and 1 toast. 5:20-5:30 take blue gene, then at 5:45 take WF, GM and Glycergrow. Then PW/PIT intra workout.

                    I can live with that, but wouldnt want to eat any more than that when getting up.

                    what do you think.....

                      should be ok, but you should have a little bit of protein with the meal.
