    Default Golden Gains Pumpkin Pie Recipe & More

    While i've posted a GG's French Toast recipe a couple months back. I've been busy in my new kitchen cooking up more healthy GG's Goodies! More to come in the near future.




    2 scoops Golden Gains
    1/2 (15 ounce) package refrigerated piecrust
    1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
    3/4 cup SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    2 teaspoons ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
    3/4 cup half-and-half
    3 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Nutrition Info: Per Pie

    Calories: 533 kcal
    Carbohydrates: 62 g
    Dietary Fiber: 5 g
    Fat: 12 g
    Protein: 25 g
    Sugars: 11 g




    2. Cooking Directions
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    Unfold piecrust; press out fold lines. Fit piecrust into a 9-inch pie plate according to package directions; fold edges under and crimp.
    Stir together pumpkin & 2 scoops of GG's and next 7 ingredients until blended Can add a tad more pumpkin if desired. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring until blended. Pour filling into piecrust.
    Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until set in the center. Cool completely on a wire rack.
    Yield: 8 servings



    Also it's Great with Sugar Free Cool Whip on top. Perfect For the Holidays! Enjoy.

    Default Apple Cinnamon Golden Gains Muffins

    Ingredients
    1 1/2 GG's
    3/4 cup Splenda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons baking powder

    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1 egg
    1/3 cup milk(non or low fat)
    2 apples - peeled, cored and chopped


    1/3 cup GG'S
    1/2 cup butter (low fat), cubed
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon



    Directions
    1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease six muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
    2.Stir together 1 1/2 cup GG's, 3/4 cup splenda, salt, baking powder and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix in oil, egg and milk. Fold in apples. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling to the top of the cup.
    3.In a small bowl, stir together another 1/3 cup of splenda 1/3 cup GG's, butter and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Mix together with fork and sprinkle over unbaked muffins.
    4.Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.




    Very Easy to make. And quick. And full of Protein & Healthy carbs.

    Default Low Fat Golden Gains Oatmeal Cookies

    Default Golden Gains Protein Combat Bars

    I made these before work related visits to Afganistan. Fantastic to carry on you. And they keep you going. Or just great for anytime Snacks. You will get Addicted to these!





    Ingredients
    1 cup honey
    0.5 cup corn syrup
    1.5 cup brown sugar Or Splenda
    1 cup natural creamy peanut butter
    6 cups Special K cereal
    0.5 cup shredded coconut
    4 scoops Golden Gains




    Directions
    Mix together in a large mixing bowl the cereal,coconut,and protein powder(toffee chips optional),set aside.
    On medium heat mix the honey,corn syrup,and brown sugar Or Splenda together stirring constantly to prevent burning. Bring to a rolling boil and boil 1 minute,then mix in the peanut butter. Continue stirring until boiling and boil 1 minute more.
    Immediately pour hot mixture over cereal mixture and combine well. Mold into a well greased 9x13 inch pan,pressing down firmly. Let cool and harden completely then dump out onto cutting board and cut into 1 1/2 x 4 inch bars. Wrap each bar in plastic wrap and pack in gallon ziplock bags to store. Makes 18 bars.

    Number of Servings: 16
    Very Low in Fat. Packed with protein & healthy carbs.

    Default Golden Gains Low Fat Nutmeg Waffles

    (4 servings)

    * 1 1/4 cup GG'S
    * 1 teaspoon baking powder
    * 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    * 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    * 1/2 teaspoon salt
    * 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (freshly ground if possible)
    * 1 egg (lightly beaten)
    * 1 cup fat free milk
    * 1 teaspoon canola oil
    * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    * butter & maple syrup for serving (optional)

    In a small bowl, combine GG's, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, oil and vanilla; stir into the dry ingredients until well combined.

    Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to the directions. (Use cooking Spray if it isn't non-stick.) Cook until golden brown and lid lifts easily.

    (Serve with butter and sugar free maple syrup Or Fruit Spread.)
