    Default cjlucas' RED ACID GEN 2 log

    This is gonna be my log for the testing of Controlled Labs Red Acid Gen 2. First I would like to thank all of the guys at CL for chosing me to be a tester for their product.
    This journal will start once I recieve my Red Acid Gen 2, I just felt I should get a head start on all the initial info for all who wish to follow for the upcoming month.

    Diet:

    I am currently taking in between 1800-2500 calories daily, below is the normal day, it does vary from time to time though to help break the boringness of it (have to enjoy what you take in, lol)
    5am: Egg/meat sandwich (egg, ground turkey, brown rice, onion, green pepper, spices)
    10am: Mandarine oranges
    12:30pm: sensible lunch
    3pm: Turkey ball (ground turkey, brown rice, green pepper, onion, spices)
    7pm: sensible dinner


    Weight Training:

    It changes every three weeks to the element of suprise for my body, but I work-out mon, tues, thurs, anf friday morning at 5am. I have attached my work-out program (which actually needs to be adjusted to my current weights which are a little higher).

    Cardio:

    I work-out cardio 4-5 days a week after work at aroudn 4-4:30 for 30-60 minutes. I am training to do a half Ironman Triathalon as well and generally bike for around 40-50 miles on saturday or sunday and also do a couple runs of 4+ miles a week and then one strong day of at least 1/2 mile swim.

    Progress:

    I will measure, weigh-in, and check body fat once a week. I will also take pictures at the end of each week and post them at the end of the journal, for comparison.

    My goal is to get to around 6-8% body fat and I would say that I work harder than most and push myself very hard. Since 03-25-06 I have lost over 20 pounds and over 12% body fat.

    Again, I would like to thank everyone who had anything to do with the choosing of me to be a tester of this product.

    nice log, subscribed also.

    could you please tell me what you have for lunch and dinner? and how much water you take daily? and also what other supplements you will be taking, (basics etc like multi, fish oil, creatine, whey protein...)

    Thanks for subs all: I will keep a detailed log of my daily work-outs and try to get all my food intakes writing down as well.

    Well my lunches and dinner vary, just make sure they are healthy. But I like to change it up daily.

    Water: it is generally about 5-10 16oz cups during the day and a 20oz bottle of water (mixed with accellerade) during each work-out. Then I generally drink about 2 glasses of water at home as well.

    Supplements: I am only taking a multivitamin along with the RED ACID GEN2, so the gains (well actually losses) will be from hard work and the RED ACID, nothing else.

    I've subscribed also. I'm very interested in your training for the Ironman. I'm training for a half-marathon in December. When is your race?

    Congrats on setting a goal and training for a half marathon, that will probably be the hardest part of the half ironman. Well my original plan was to complete the half ironman in a year and do some smaller triathalons before then. But I may be taking my brothers spot in the half Ironman in about a month, so now I have to jump my training up a notch.

    Well I have used RED ACID GEN II for a couple days now and it has not made me feel dizzy/light headed like some of the other products I have tried. It does have that natural vitamin smell but other than that I do not see any other downfalls of the product as it swallows very easy as well. I do have to say that I have been going to the bathroom a little more than I did before, but I guess that is part of the way your body gets rid of excess products (fat), but I went a couple times a day before anyway.

    I will put up a week log later in the week, just wanted to do a quick product review for others to read.

    I have started to notice a 4 pack (abs) starting to appear rather than just the 2 pack I have had, I can also start to see definition in my thighs and more vaines are begining to appear in my arms (meaning less body fat)
