there are tons of leg stretches..

active dynamic stretches are ideal pre-training and static holds post

static stretches = typical stretching, holding body at its point of most tension for a period of time to increase ROM

I was thinking along the same lines especially since the swelling is still going down. The Gastrocnemius and Soleus got hyperextended add in the impact to the Tibialis. I was cutting down a tree and it kicked back, I jumped in the air just before it hit my left leg, I ended up bouncing off an another tree 5 feet away.

Thanks, today in the gym I felt like a slug... got in a light work out, stretching and I pushed my luck and did a few calf raises. Upper body....ok so far.

Workout today went a little better, it's going to take time. Yesterday I had to answer a lot of email, everyone thought I was home in bed not back in the gym and work. no pain- no gain well at least I got the pain part covered....
