What's everyones thoughts of fat PWO? Good, bad, doesnt matter?

I was just wondering since I'm really enjoying downing a few eggs with some bacon after a good workout.. should I re-think it?

That's a good question... I don't think you'd be replenishing glycogen... but I really don't know. Are you on a keto style diet?
If not, I would re think it.

Nah I'm not on keto, a keep my carbs reasonably high. I might switch a few meals around and see how it goes, thanks.

Whole eggs and bacon are probably not the best choice immediately postworkout, since the fat will slow the absorption of nutrients down. Egg whites though are highly bioavailable and a good postworkout source.

And yes carbohydrates are much needed postworkout.

baccon itself isn't all that great for you, i would replace with something else on a more regular basis..

              Pwo

I love a rice cake with natural peanut butter and honey drizzled on top. It is almost worth working out just to eat! Or I may have a vanilla protein shake with peanut butter and honey... YUMMM... I hear chocolate milk is good too.
Eat boring, have an exciting life.
