how to break up clump

I just placed my order for 2 of the white flood clumped bottles.

This is my first time buying any clumped product. I remember some discussion somewhere about how to get rid of the clumps. It was a pain in the ass but it seemed to work. I think some kind of freezing and grinding was involved... I anticipate my questions being:

How do I get this huge clump out of the bottle? Use knife and cut plastic bottle off of clump, use something (what) to break the clump into smaller pieces and put them in a blender? How much in a blender at once? any tips for blending clump into powder? Any help from people who have actually done this would be appreciated.

I'd use a coffee grinder. I don't know how badly they are clumped but a I'd use some thing to chisel out "chunks" and then put in coffee grinder and grind back into a powder.
