Stonecold’s Heavenly Tilapia
Ingredients
Two whole eggs, beaten
Two Tilapia Filets
Flavored Bread Crumbs (Italian Seasoning)
4 Slices Swiss Cheese
Possible Seasoning (Lemon or Fresh Ground Pepper)
Coat Filet in Egg and Coat with Bread Crumbs (both sides)
Lay Filet Flat, and place cheese slices on top
Roll Filet up and secure with a toothpick (like a swiss roll)
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes
NOTE - I use 12 grain bread in a food processor to make my bread crumbs, but you can purchase precrumbed bread crumbs or make your own. I'm going to also experiment using flax meal instead of bread in the future.
This recipe is probably the best non-difficult fish recipe that actually tastes amazing!
Cheers,
SCT
