    The X-Files:Operation Bulk(Phase II)

    Introduction
    I have now been on my current bulk for 120 days and have gone from 135lbs to 162lbs. I have done a good job warding off fat gains while increasing LBM by keeping a very clean diet(more detail later) and a training program that I have found to provide me with the best results(more detail later). I am extremely dedicated to doing the best that I can do and then pushing myself beyond that point. The first thing that I want to point out is that I realize that diet and training make results and supplements only help out when those in tandem are perfect , I will be making no excuses along the way for failure and short comings. I will be completely honest with everything I post and will provide the best detail I can. With all that being said I am very excited to be running this stack and am hoping for some great results.

    *I will be keeping track of my blood pressure throughout this log because of recent accusations of X-Factor playing a role in increased blood pressure.
    **I am also going to be tracking my Cholesterol because of the accusations of a raise in cholesterol as well.

    Goals
    Short Term Goal: Increase weight to 175 lbs with minimum fat gains.

    Long Term Goal: Increase weight to around 185-195 lbs while keeping BF% low.

    Background
    I have been training seriously since I was 15.5 years old. This was in middle school when I decided that I wanted to PLAY football. I had been on the team since 6th grade but that was it, I was ON the team. I was tired on being on the sidelines and wanted to kick some ass on the field! So that was when I first got into lifting and intense cardio seriously. I noticed great results quickly and then a friend introduced me to creatine and that is where my supplement history begins. During this time I was able to get up to 235 lbs and saw alot of playing time. Once I reached my senior year however I had decided not to continue my career in football at a AAA or AA school and instead chose to attend college at Purdue for academic reasons. With having this decision made I decided that I did not like where I was at weight wise because of a bit of added fat I had and was not happy being "big". It was then, December 2005, I went on my "cut of doom" and started down a very dangerous and unhealthy road. I will say however that it started out great and cut to 180 lbs in a healthy way, but went south from there quickly. Long story short I ended up at a anorexic 135 lbs in January of 2007. I have since then joined this forum, corrected my terrible/unhealthy habits(which I new were bad), and have been making a great transformation for myself ever since.

    Training Schedule
    The schedule that I am running is the same one that I ran in high school and saw tremendous results from. The type of training that I am alluding to is the Pyramid Style in a Upper/Lower split through the week. For those of you who are not familiar with this training style I will give a short and to the point explanation of it and its benefits.
    "The idea or pyramiding is so your muscles keep using more weight. The more weight you use the stronger you become, the stronger you become the more weight you can use. The pyramid principle is based on ONE REP MAX (the amount of weight you can perform the exercise with properly one time). Each week you need to increase the amount of weight you use based on your ONE REP MAX for that exercise. The reps go usually from 12/10/8/6/4 with the weight increasing with each set."
    In between each Upper/Lower body pairing I do a light cardio day with HIIT along with stretching with resistance bands. This allows me to get great recovery and shorten my overall recovery time.

    Diet And Nutrition
    This along with my training program is what is going to dictate my successes or failures. I realize the important of a great diet and have spent a long time compiling this diet to reflect how my body reacts and what has worked for me in the past. Basically my diet will revolve around CLEAN foods and more CLEAN foods. I also DO NOT cheat, I have learned, again from past experiences, that the temptation eventually subsides and you are better of in the long run for it. People with disagree with my on my philosophy but that is just my opinion and mindset.

    My diet as of now is around 3000 calories but will have to up the calories along the way according to my gains.

    Closing Thoughts Before Operation Bulk Begins
    As part of my log I will be providing daily workout updates with all weight and reps preformed. In addition to that workout comments and side effects will also be noted on a daily basis. Each Sunday I will be providing updated measurements as well, in order to help outline my progress. I strongly encourage you to ask questions if you have any and provide constructive criticism if there is a area that you feel I can improve on. My first workout will be posted on Monday and thus begins my 60 day Operation BULK!

    Comments And Thoughts
    Todays workout went great, I was in the "zone" throughout the entire workout. It was a awesome feeling to be back on WhiteFLOOD, the energy and focus I get from it is unparalleled. Bench went great today and I will be bumping up the weight for Thursday’s workout. Shoulder press and Lat Pull-Down seem to be going well also and am about ready to bump them up as well. On somewhat of a side note after I took my Garlic extract pill this morning and I seemed to smell of garlic until around lunch time. I hope this doesn’t keep up.

      Comments And Thoughts
      Today’s workout went very well; energy and focus were once again good. I feel like I am about ready to increase on lunges for a few sets but will decide on the details come Friday. As for soreness right now my quads are still burning but feeling great at the same time. During the workout I noticed that I had increased perspiration, I am not sure if this is due to any of the added supplements at this time as it has only been two days. I definitely like the feeling of sweating more because usually I don’t sweat that much. No change in sleep patterns to note on at this time.

        Comments
        Cardio today went well, and bandwork felt great on my quads since they were still a bit tender from yesterday. Once again today I noticed that I was sweating a lot more then usual during cardio and even during bandwork.

        Side Effects
        Last night I got my first great sleep from E-BOL, I fell asleep quickly and slept very soundly. The only thing that was strange were the dreams I had, not sure how to categorize them other then “odd”. On another positive note no lethargy or laziness to note on at this time.

          Comments And Thoughts
          Bench was amazing today; I’m getting really excited to be closing in on my bodyweight. Shoulder press also went well and will be increasing the weight there for Monday’s workout. Energy and focus were good as usual and am still getting great rep-to-rep recovery which is attributed to PurplE WrAAth. Pumps seem to have gotten better from Monday so I feel that this is from the E-BOL rather then X-Factor because it shouldn’t have kicked in yet. I am also still noticing increased sweating with no drop in stamina or increase in fatigue.

          Side Effects
          Well another night of great sleep from E-BOL but with that great sleep came the strange dreams again. The dreams I have, seem to be at one end of the spectrum or the other. I am either angry as hell in a fight or am fucking some hot chick. I can’t really explain it other then that but both sides are becoming more intense with each night. Not complaining though it’s making me feel like more of a badass!!! As another plus I still haven’t experienced any lethargy or grogginess. Still nothing on the X-Factor yet but it is only day 4.

            Comments And Thoughts
            Today I added a set of 6 reps to my lunges and I really felt the extra burn. Leg presses went great today but feel very sore right now from them. Quads are still burning as of now and feel that I am in store for increased soreness tomorrow as well. With that being said rep-to-rep recovery was still good and was not fatigued much if at all during my workout so I was able to still get all reps with good form. Decent pumps today and have definitely gotten better since Tuesday, I feel that the pump effects are starting to kick in and will get MUCH more intense once the X-Factor really sets in. As the perspiration goes I am still noticing increased sweating and was wondering of any of the TL reps reading this can either confirm or deny my thoughts of this being due to E-BOL .

            Side Effects
            Still getting very solid deep sleep from the E-BOL. Although last night it took me longer to fall asleep then normal I did not wake up at all during the night which is unusual for me. Dreams are still intense and make me feel like I have been sleeping for a longer time then I was. One other feeling that I have noticed is when I wake up I have a very "Alpha" feeling and mentality. Nothing else to note on at this time.

              Comments
              Bandwork felt great today, I really needed it after yesterdays intense leg workout. My quads were VERY sore this morning so getting in a solid stretching session was imperative. The only negative thing that I have to report on in terms of soreness now is that during cardio my knees were bothering me a great deal. They felt as if they were going to “buckle” and were quite painful. My knees have never been great ever since football so I am hoping that Orange TRIad’s joint formula can help me in this area. As far as the increased perspiration goes I am still seeing an increase and was dripping after my cardio. Whether this is due to the [B]E-BOL, X-Factor or just them working in synergy together, I am not sure but am nevertheless pleased. Fullness was good today which can be attributed to both so that could be a sign of good synergy between them right there.

              Side Effects
              As it is becoming second nature so far, I am still getting great sleep from E-BOL. Dreams are still intense and erotic at the same time. Can’t wait to throw Aspire 36 into the mix one of these up coming nights! As far as X-Factor is concerned the pain in my knees that was highlighted today might be a sign that things are starting to kick in.

                While today is an off day from lifting and cardio, I still try to stay somewhat active during the day by getting out for a walk or something of that sort. I hate doing nothing on off days because it just makes me feel crappy. Even though my body feels great taking a rest my mind however does not. Soreness today was in check and legs felt great all over except for a bit of soreness in my knees. It's not that bad but is still lingering from yesterday. Feeling some decent overall fullness outside of working out, so that is another good sign of things starting to kick in.

                Side Effects
                Once again last night I had very pleasant sleep from E-BOL. Dreams are still good but have seemed to level off in terms of intensity from what I can remember when I wake up. Still have not experienced any lethargy or grogginess in the mornings but in contrast am still having the "Alpha" feeling. Still thinking that the X-Factor is having something to do with the joint problem in my knee but is subsiding as of now nevertheless. Hopefully this is a sign of intense workouts ahead!

                      Workout today went great; I was extremely focused and ready to go right when I hit the gym. It’s a great thing to be seeing such an improvement in the weight both in the weight room and on myself. This does more to pump me up then anything. I am closing in on my short term bench goal, bodyweight, as I am right now benching at 160 lbs. I will be bumping up shoulder press and possibly lat pull-down on Thursday. I have seemed to reach a plateau on BB curl and am hoping that with the increase in calories and the stack can jump start that again in the upcoming weeks. Pumps today were pretty good and are definitely starting to get more intense and pronounced. X-Factor seems to be starting to do it’s thing and should be fully kicked in soon. As the perspiration issue is concerned it has leveled out but has leveled of at a high spot. Again not a bad thing just something that I want to make note of.

                      Side Effects
                      E-BOL is still providing good deep sleep, although it has taken me a bit longer to fall asleep. Dreams are still very erotic but am remember less then I was at first, because I am not waking up as much during the night. Morning lethargy or grogginess has still not affected me at all. Somewhat sore right now in my biceps and chest and am expecting some major DOMS tomorrow. Can only expect them to get better once X-Factor is in full swing.

                        Lower body workout today went great, awesome energy and focus helped me get a solid session in. It seems as though all my workouts are getting better and more intense as I am progressing. Lunges felt amazing today and felt a nice burn and am still feeling it now. The reps definitely felt easier and will be adding 5 lbs to one if not more of the sets for Friday. Sweating was once again very high and increased from where I had thought it leveled off at yesterday. Fullness, pumps and vascularity are increasing as well, while not like GlycerGrow had given me, I feel that they will soon be at that point if not better. X-Factor is definitely doing its thing!

                        Side Effects
                        While I am still noticing much better deep sleep it has been taking me a longer time to actually get to sleep. I notice myself laying there tired but awake at the same time. Even though this is happening I still wake up feeling great and very refreshed with the same continued "Alpha" feeling that I have been noticing. This morning I awoke not only to the "Alpha" feeling but some very intense DOMS as well. My chest and biceps were very, very sore and were almost to the point of the GlycerGrow soreness that I have had before. IMO there is nothing wrong with increase in DOMS, it’s great to feel the battle "scars" of a good workout.

                          Today's cardio session was very intense, I decided to up the incline because I wanted some more resistance and was frankly just bored. My calves and quads were sore this morning but the stretching helped loosen them up before cardio and I was able to really stride out. Legs feel more or less good right now all except for some joint pain in my knees, not as bad as last session but still noticeable and somewhat painful. Perspiration was high today as well and was the most it has been thus far. This was kind of expected though because of the increase in cardio intensity. Fullness today both in the gym and just during the day was/is GREAT. Vascularity is becoming more prevalent as well but is not increasing in the same magnitude as pumps and fullness.

                          Side Effects
                          Sleep last night was much better then the past few had been, I fell asleep quickly and only woke up once to take a piss. Even after waking up I fell right back asleep, almost the feeling like I wasn't up in the first place. Didn't remember any dreams from last night unfortunately but still woke up with the same great feeling with no added grogginess. Along with the increased muscle fullness that I am having I am also having more and more of an increase in DOMS. This morning both upper and lower body was quite sore, but nothing that too excruciating, and like I said before increased DOMS should not be looked at as a bad thing. The only other side that I am noticing at this point is a bit more of an oily skin feeling on my face but I am just making sure that I am washing my face more often just to be safe.

                            Another very good day in the gym, everything went well and I had great intensity. My bench felt great, and I feel that hopefully sometime next week I will move up to 165. Will most likely not be until Thursday but nevertheless I am very excited about moving up. Reps are getting a bit easier on BB curl but still am not ready to bump the weight up at this time. Fullness and vascularity were very good today both in the gym and out. I love the feeling of being pumped even when I am not working out; while it’s not to that(gym) magnitude it is still good. Perspiration is back to where I said that it had leveled off at on Tuesday. This shows me that the massive increase yesterday was due to the increase in cardio intensity rather then the supplements making more of impact.

                            One other very interesting thing that happened to me today was that I purchased 1kg of bulk AA

                            Side Effects
                            Sleep is still going great, I am falling asleep quickly and staying asleep, only waking up once to take a piss. Unfortunately I am still not remembering my dreams like I was before. I can vaguely remember a little bit when I wake up in the morning but the details aren’t in my mind like they were in the first week. Definitely wouldn’t mind remembering them again! DOMS was not bad this morning like the previous mornings were but am quite sore now after my workout. Knees are feeling better and almost had no pain in them this morning. Oily skin is still present but like I said yesterday I am just making sure to wash my face more often to prevent acne.

                              The workout today went well, I had a good amount of energy and was very focused. As soon as I got to the gym, I was like a "man on a mission" nothing distracted me. There were some other guys there today that were basically just there for a social hour, needless to say it kinda pissed me off. It didn't bother me until they kept talking to me and just want to BS around. All this did was make me more motivated to get a good lift in, so when I left I thanked them. As far as recovery is going rep-to-rep recovery is still going very well and am not feeling too fatigued in between sets. Another plus is that the reps on most of my lifts are becoming easier. Fullness and vascularity are getting better as the days go and is feeling/looking great. I'm waking up with more or less the type of full feeling after a good workout. Perspiration is staying around the same level as it was yesterday so for the time being I think that it has leveled off.

                              Side Effects
                              Nothing too new to report on here still getting good deep sleep with no grogginess or morning lethargy. One thing to note on is that this morning I remembered, very vividly, the dreams that I had last night. Not sure why some nights I am and some I’m not but am glad to remember them on occasion(the erotic ones that is LOL). DOMS were not as bad as I felt they were going to be this morning, apart from biceps and chest nothing else was too sore. Still having some oily skin but nothing that a few added face washings can't take care of. If this is only as bad as the acne problem gets I will be very pleased.
