  • Soy Protein / Probolic?

I received Problic-Sr as a gift and at first glance it seemed pretty incredible... you can take it at any time, because it contains fast, medium, and slow dissolving proteins. What really blew me away though is that it has 20 grams of glutamine, 7 grams of arginine, 7.5 grams of leucine and more. Here is the link for those that are interested:

However, I have one concern... it contains soy protein. I've heard a lot of bad things about soy protein on various forums. In fact, one person said that it should be virtually non-existent in a bodybuilders diet because it can raise estrogen levels. But it's hard for me to pass up on a protein that contains 20 grams of glutamine and a crapload of other aminos. So what's the deal... is soy protein OK to take, or should I trash this PROBOLIC stuff?

You could take it with an estrogen blocker and be all good if you're THAT concerned.

not per serve thats per 100gm of Protein (so its 20% glutamine AS Glutamic acid)

things get shady when it says - 104 grams of amino acids per 100 gram serve hmmmm

and in regards to bcaa most descent protein powders are around the 20% of total mark anyways

Soy is not a good thing for men trying to build to take, look at this by author l rea:

Also, not that it matters, but if too much glutamic acid gets into your brain, it is fatal (it doesnt take much). However, its hard for that to happen.
