  • JD's cut and keep the mass log

    I will be cutting for the next few weeks till I get to where I feel I need to be. Here are the suppliments I will be using:

    CL's Glycergrow
    Scivation Xtend & Substance WPI
    Scivation Sesamin
    USPLABS cAMPHIBOLIC
    Vasopro ephedrine
    Higher Power Caffeine
    Now Adam multi
    Now Super Omega 3-6-9
    ON's 100% whey

    Here is how I will be taking these:

    Meal 1: 2 cAMP, 1 Adam multi, 2 Omega's, 1 Sesamin
    30 min pre workout: 1 ephedrine, 1 caffeine
    pre-during-post workout: sipping on 3 scoops glycergrow mixed with 8 scoops xtend and 1 scoop WPI
    15 min after workout: 2 scoops ON's whey
    Meal 3: 2 Omega's, 1 Sesamin, 1 Adam multi
    Meal 6: 2 Omega's, 1 Sesamin, 1 Adam multi

    Current Stats:
    Weight: 206
    %bf: 13%
    Height: 6'1
    Arms: 16" flexed
    Shoulders: 50.5"
    Chest: 44"
    Theighs: 25"
    Calves: 16"
    Waist: across belly button 34.5"

    Looking to get to about 198 while keeping as much muscle as possible
    going for 1-2 lbs per week

    I am currently on my third day of this and I will post all updates including my workout and diet in a little bit.

    Ok so heres my workout:
    I have been doing a max-ot style workout for the past few weeks and have been having great gains with it so im going to continue to use it during my cut.
    Monday: Chest Shoulders Triceps
    3x4-6 flat bench
    2x4-6 incline bench
    1x6 dips

    2x4-6 overhead shoulder press
    2x6-8 side lateral raises

    2x4-6 lying tricep extensions
    2x4-6 pushdowns

    15 min light to moderate cadio

    Tuesday: 30 moderate cardio

    Wednesday: Back Biceps forearms
    2x6 wide grip pullups
    2x6 palms facing each other pull ups
    2x4-6 barbell rows

    2x4-6 standing bicep curls
    2x4-6 barbell curls
    2x4-6 hammer curls

    3xfailure wrist curls
    15 min light to moderate cardio

    Thursday: 30 min moderate cardio

    Friday: Legs and calfs
    3x4-6 squats
    2x4-6 leg press
    2x6 still leg deadlift

    2x failure standing barbell calf raises
    2x failure seated calf raises

    15 min light to moderate cardio

    Sat & Sun: rest

        Here is my typical diet for this cut:
        Meal 1 (1 hour before cardio or lifting):1 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop on's whey, 1 cup milk
        Post workout: 1 scoop on's whey, 1 cup milk
        Meal 2: 4 oz turkey breast in a salad, 1 serving unsalted peanuts, 1 cup milk
        Meal 3: 4 oz turkey breast in a salad, 1 serving unsalted peanuts
        Meal 4: 2 scoops on's whey
        Meal 5: 4 oz turkey breast in a salad, 1 cup milk
        Meal 6: 1 scoop on's whey, 1 cup milk
        Totals: 2300-2400 cal. 250-260g protein 120g carbs 40g fat

        I drink 1-2 gallons of water per day.
        Some days I will have a chicken breast or tuna sub during meal 2 instead.

        This is my first log so any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

          Day 3

          Weight:205 down 1 lb from Monday

          As I said earlier I started this on Monday. So here is what has went on today.
          Diet was great got 2450 cal.
          Todays workout:
          2x6 wide pullups bodyweight
          2x6 palms facing each other pullups bodyweight
          2x5 barbell row 115lbs
          2x5 standing dumbell raises 50lbs each arm
          2x6 ez bar curls 45 lbs on each side (not sure how much the bar weighs)
          3xfailure standing wrist curls 50lbs each arm

          15 min cardio

          Todays workout was great I had a great pump going after my first couple sets of pullups. I will probably add some weight to me when I do pullups next week since they were pretty easy today. Today was the first day I did 3 scoops of glycergrow and I loved it. I was skeptical about taking it since I usually feel like crap when I take an NO product, but I def see what people mean when they say its a different kind of pump. I had alot of energy with todays workout. Hopefully I will have alot when I do my cardio tomorrow.

                  I have no idea. I have only tried them a couple of times so maybe it was just a coincidence. Any particular brand or kind you recommend?

                    any almond should do. i personally steal big tubs of planters mixed nuts (retail value roughly 25$) from work and eat the almonds than give it to my parents, or take it back to work and bring home a fresh one.

                      Day 4

                      Today was cardio day I woke up and had meal 1 then an hour later I did cardio. Today was the first time I used 3 scoops glycergrow during cardio and I started getting a crazy pump in my legs about 10 min into my cardio session. I walked on the tredmill today for 30 min with the incline set up all the way and the speed set to 4 mph. My heartrate was about 160-170.

                      Overall I had alot of energy this morning. When I woke up my allergys were kinda bothering me but other than that todays cardio felt great. I stuck to my typical diet and I still have a couple more meals today, but no cheating in sight. Tomorrow is leg day so hopefully I can hit the weights hard and not be too sore the next day.

                            Day 5

                            Today was leg day here is my workout:

                            Squat 3x6 275
                            leg press 2x6 the machine says 512 but I dont know if its right or not
                            leg extensions 1x8 all the weight on the stack
                            calf raises on leg press machine 3x20 full stack(says 712) prob wrong though
                            smith machine calf raises 2x6 each leg with 315

                            did 15 min of light cardio after

                            Todays workout was great. I have been having tons of energy all week and so far I have been having pretty good pumps. Today I didnt feel the pump as much as I have the other days this week. I took 3 scoops glycergrow pre/during/after workout and 1 scoop with my post workout shake. Now I got 2 days of rest ahead so hopefully my sinus infection will go away before next week. I will take measurements and weigh my self on Monday.

                              Sorry I havent updated its been a crazy week so far. I will just do a brief run down of everything since last post.
                              Sat. & Sun.: Just kinda hung out and rested. I ate pretty decent.
                              Monday: The gym was closed so I couldnt do my chest/shoulder/tri workout so instead I did Tuesdays cardio. Which was for 30 minutes.
                              Tuesday: I did my normal Monday workout and cardio for 15 min after.

                              I still gotta do todays workout which I will do after class and update tonight. On Monday and Tuesday I was very strict with my diet. So far with glycergrow I have noticed that I sweat alot more during workouts and sometimes during the day. Energy during workouts this week so far have been through the roof. Muscles were a little more sore over the past week I dont know if that is due to the glycergrow or not, but I have noticed that I feel more pumped longer thoughout the day. I will post weight and new measurements tonight. Oh and I got a broken capsul bottle of White Blood just a little bit ago. I should get it by the end of the week I guess. So I am thinking about adding that in next week and taking it at night. Any suggestions?
