  • Military training?

    Hi,

I'm going to the military soon and I was wondering how to train best for military performance?

    Weighttraing
My weightraining program is Making Bodybuilding more athletic from zeppelin.
    http://www.mindandmuscle.net/mindand...=9&artID=99991

This program adds olympic lifts that could be useful I think...

With this program I'm also doing a lot of crunches, pull-ups and push-ups.

    Cardio
I started running outside, I'll be doing this 3 times a week (30-45min.)
Crosstrainer 30min. after lifting (HR 130)

I hope this is a good set-up to get in shape for basic training.

    Grtz

You're on the right track.. train for endurance and don't bulk.

Ow I have another question, supplement related

Currently I'm taking Purple Wraath, creatine mono, Red Acid and Opti-men (ON's).

I get al my kcals from whole foods.

I'm already thinking about my next stack

            Xtend
            Green Magnitude
            Opti-men
            ...

            Grtz

Congrats, really I want to go to the army really bad, but like I said before in Belgium we have a small army and they tend to take only the best recruits, so I'm still waiting for a spot.

I'll be doing infantry or paracommando, fif I get selected.

Do you have more supplement tips pu12?

Tribulus is out of the question because I've got puffy nipples due to tribulus, gues I'm really sensivite...

So far my choice for the new stack is: Green Magnitude/Xtend/Opti-men/...

                    1) I would stick with the WRAATH, partly because of the endurance complex

                    2) I would pick up some whey protein because it's one of the cheapest sources of complete protein.

Agreed! I was strength training when I went into the Marines, kicked my butt till I leaned out some. Running was the biggest part as the rest was pretty easy.

Endurance is key becuase it also teaches you to train under stress and fatigue. This also will help with some of the mental aspects also.

Yeah, I started running , it's hard! hehe

Well becauwe I'm running I get sore and if I train my legs, well the following day it's a real bitch to run, sometimes impossible!

Must I keep training legs? Maybe I should train them with light weights or not train them at all...

pu12: my next stack will be => purple wraath, green magnitude, opti-men, super epa and e-form.

Its always important to train legs. If anything don't train arms.
