Is it just me? But everytime I do 2 bodyparts a day, I give my all to the first and 1/2 ass the second. And everytime I try to intermix'em, example: Bi's and tris, I end up wit a better pump in bi's all the time. So I think I'm gonna do one part and give it 100% then close out each workout with calesthetics. Basically, pushups, dips, and pullups. But no pull-ups on bicep day, no push ups on chest day, and no dips on tri's day. Any feedback or advice?

i might be saying bye bye to my westside methods for a while and doing something like aries or something similiar.
aries. what day is deadlifts on? does it change from week to week on back legs or does it always fall on a specific day or cycle? just curious
shoulders arms day must take a while. lots of stuff to do but then again dont need much rest for any of it

i only do deadlifts on back days..
I only do two exercises per body part.
Doing things the way i do, I get two rotations every 8 days..
I get more workouts per year than most people.. Almost twice as many workouts, in fact, since most people have 7 day rotations.
which method grows your chest better...
a) 52 chest workouts per year
b) almost 100 chest workouts per year.

I did 2 parts a day for over 4 years and loved it every day but came to a point in which I was able to lift more then was safe working out by myself. I became dependant on a spotter and my workouts suffered. If I had a lifting partner I would still be doing 2 parts a day.

1. shoulder something
2. shoulder something
3. bicep something/ or tri
4. bicep something/ or tri
5. bicep something/ or tri

2 exercises per bodypart.. the goal is not to destroy your bodyparts, but to tear down the issue JUST ENOUGH to stimulate growth..
If you trash it, it'll grow a little bit.
If you work it, it'll grow a little bit..
the difference is: trashing it takes your body LONGER to recover..
When you train everthing twice in eight days, the next workout of the same bodypart is only 3 days away..
On leg days, I only do squats and walking lunges.. I grow just fine on that... My legs are about 27" at the thickest part.
I do perform one calf exercise on leg days to finish the leg workout.
from 6'1" 155 at my lowest point TO 6'1" 255 at my highest point.

Personally I'm on chest/bi's, back/tri's, legs/abs for the time being. I find that if I do say pushing exercises for my chest which would in turn use my tri's, I'm weaker come time to hit the tries, as they're already wornout a bit. Granted, the following workout would still hit them to a point, it doesn't seem to impact them negatively as much as doing chest/tri's etc on same days.
