If my protein powder has over 5 g of BCAA's per serving, how would it be advantageous to take BCAA's separately?

Hi!
The short answer is free form absorbtion is wayy faster because it is pure aminos, with no 'unnessecary' parts. Protein has some BCAAs in it, but it also as alot of 'impurities' that slow or hinder absorbtion. The rate in which it 'starts working' and feeding your muscles is way faster, and, because we take EAA/BCAA pre and during workout, we want it to work as fast as possible so we get more endurance, energy and less catabolism.

Correct. Also, plasma amino levels will peak higher (not just faster) with free form EAA / BCAA... good stuff for those looking for that "edge".

what happens if you take lets say 1scoop protein 20g. with 1scoop bcaa something for 3g bcaas
so 23g protein total.. how does it digest if you take it together?
